The Raiders have been on a losing streak that would make their mums hang their heads in shame, dropping their last four games. The Warriors not fairing too much better have been somewhat inconsistent but showed promise with a 42-12 thrashing of the Cowboys and a 32-16 win over the Broncos in their past five games. On average, the Raiders are scoring 19.6 points per game but conceding a harrowing 25.4, compared to the Warriors’ 20.9 points scored and 22.8 conceded.

The Raiders will need to tighten up their line, missing tackles like a work site searching for tradies on a Friday arvo. The Warriors’ tackle efficiency at 88.6% just edges out the Raiders’ 88.2%.

Odds are on the Warriors to score first try so expect them to get out of the gates early on.

Aside from their loss last game to the Dolphins, the Rabbitohs have been fairly consistent as of late, boasting four wins in their last five, while the Tigers are are of course the Tigers and seemingly back to their old ways, losing their last three after a glimmer of top notch Rugby.

The Bunnies are averaging 21 points per game but allowing 28 to slide through, compared to the Tigers’ 17 scored and 29 conceded. Unfortunately this weeks game is a battle of who can hold their nerve longer, and though the Westies have a better shot at winning this week than most games… we dont see it happening.

Both teams are tipped to score 20+ points, so we can expect it to be a pretty tight game, however, The Rabbitohs have extremely good odds to get off the ground first and score the first try.

The Knights average 17.9 points per game, but their defence is conceding 22.6 points while the Broncos are scoring marginally better at 22.5 while points against per match is comparatively the same.

Broncos are the favourites this week and with total points set at 47.5 we’re expecting it to be a fairly low scoring game, and with an 85.7% reliability to win after leading at half time a same game multi with a HT/FT double is wise.

The Storm leading the ladder in first place are on a roll with five straight wins, while the Roosters sitting comfortably in third have won their last four of five. Melbourne are only allowing 19 points on average per game for their opposition which is good in its own right, however, the Roosters are only allowing 17.5. And while the Storm boys are scoring a very respectable 27.5 PPG on average the Roosters are packing a punch with a 30-point average.

Not going to lie, this is going to be one interesting match, and the game to watch this week, both the stats and the odds are slightly in favour of the Roosters, but one can’t overlook the fact that the Storm have a significant leg up when they are playing at home, and considering how cold it will be, they are far more accustomed to the icy breeze that we can expect on the night.

All stats points to the Roosters, however, due to the location, weather, and skill level of both teams we’re looking towards the Storm this week for the win.

The Cowboys lost their last game against the Sea Eagles 21-20 after winning against the Panther in the game beforehand, while the Bulldogs are sitting on two straight wins against the Warriors and the Sharks. Statistically, the Cowboys average 24 points per game, but are conceding just as many, the Bulldogs on the other hand, are scoring lower with an avergage of 20.5 PPG but are only allowing 16 points per game by their opposition.

Historically the last few games between the Cowboys and the Bulldogs have kept the score relatively low and we are expecting this weeks game to be no different, total points are set at 46.5, and considering their last game came in at 29 points total we can estimate that while it will be higher it wont be breaking the 46.5 mark.
