TLDR Verdict: PuntCity has the reminiscent feel of a certain video game aided by a bright neon colour scheme that is such a healthy addition to the Australian betting landscape. They are missing a few things like phone support, a full form guide and racing futures, however what they do have available more than make up for their shortcomings. They have a great range of sports markets, their app not only looks great but is also crazy fast, they have competitive odds plus same game multis.

The design of PuntCity is, for lack of a better word, awesome on both mobile and desktop. with a seamless design and intuitive interface, it is incredibly easy to make your way around PuntCity without getting lost. The design is refreshing, offering a vibrant colour scheme highlighting the main parts of each page to ensure it is as easy as possible to find what you are looking for.

It is worth noting that I didn’t have to fill in the verification while signing up. One of the things I like most about initially setting up my new puntcity account is how easy the deposit options are; with just Visa and Mastercard as depositing options, it removes all the unnecessary “Fluff” that a lot of other betting sites offer, considering these are but essentially used everywhere it is good to see they have kept it simple.

Betting on PuntCity is one of the coolest betting experiences I have encountered, not only is it super simple to find what you are looking for, they also make it as easy as possible for you to understand exactly what is happening. I can see a lot of new bettors taking a fancy to the way bets are placed on PuntCity.
The Form Guide
PuntCity’s form guide is super basic; both the guide and odds are on the same page as the race listings. If you are the sort of punter who doesn’t tend to use full-form guides and speed maps as an integral part of your betting plan, then PuntCity is a great choice.

Speed Map
A speed map is not available on the PuntCity website or app; they may be looking to introduce it into the fold soon, however, which will be a nice addition to the site’s overall options range.
Popping on a bet
While looking at the day’s races, I came across Lady Huribel; while not the favourite, there were signs in the flucs that there was something extra in this little lady. I popped a $5 bet on the nose.
Setting your Deposit Limit
One thing I love about betting sites these days is the option to set a deposit limit. PuntCity has included this feature in the final stages of the signup process to help ensure responsible betting.
Betting on Sports
As a sports analyst, it is safe to say I love my sports, although I have to admit that while I do love my sports, I’m not a huge fan of placing bets on the more obscure sports such as darts. It is great to see that some of these more obscure sports are available though. All major sports are available as expected including AFL, NRL, Soccer, Tennis, and major American sports such as NFL and NBA.
Verifying your account
Verifying my PuntCity account was incredibly easy; they only requested one form of identification, which I opted to give them my driver’s license; after filling out the one-page online form, I was verified and good to go within less than a minute (incredibly easy in comparison to some other sites).
Verdict
In my personal opinion, PuntCity stands out as one of the best betting sites in the Australian market. Many bookies fill their site with so many options and betting options that hardly ever get used, taking up much-needed space. However, PuntCity has done away with all the unnecessary bits, leaving a perfectly optimized betting site.
