In this BetRoyale review we will be covering all aspects of the playthrough in a real betting experience from signing up to placing a bet, you will also find an analytical review of the entire site further down the page.
TLDR Verdict: BetRoyale is a fun new addition to the list of Australian betting sites, while the images above hint at other forms of betting such as cards, poker chips and dice there is nothing on their physical site other than sports and racing. The site covers all major sports and racing both nationally and internationally and placing a bet is a breeze.

BetRoyale Highlights
- Betting Markets: BetRoyale has a good range of betting markets.
- International Races: We all love a good range of local markets, but BetRoyale has a decent range of international races available also.
- Available Sports: All major sports both nationally and internationally are available plus a bunch of smaller exotic sports not considered major.
How’s the Layout?
I’ve got to admit, the layout of BetRoyale is pretty sweet; everything is laid out clean and evenly, and the structure is easy to navigate on both the desktop and app; the logo front and centre of the app is incredibly eye-catching with the way it moves and shines, and the colour scheme easily distinguishes sections with no eye strain.
Let’s Fill in the Signup form.
Time to Sign Up!
The registration process for BetRoyale is fast easy and an absolute breeze, and with only needing an email, name, mobile number, and address, I was up and running in roughly a minute, which was a huge bonus considering alot of other betting sites can take over two minutes to get you through the front door.

Verifying your account
Immediately after creating my account, BetRoyale requested I verify my identity before proceeding.
Most other betting sites require you to do this within two weeks or prior to withdrawing funds (whichever comes first), so it was good to see BetRoyale getting everything out of the way at the start, I chose to use my driver’s license as my wallet was close by and the process once again took less than a minute.
Setting your Deposit Limit
It is worth mentioning that after signing up there was a deposit limit form in which I could choose to choose how much I am willing to bet within a certain timeframe, this is something that all betting sites have nowadays so it was great to see BetRoyale having it up front as a priority.
Let’s fund our account.
Adding some funds
BetRoyale doesn’t have much to offer when it comes to depositing options, with only Mastercard and Visa cards as ways of depositing; however, considering most Australians have a card using one of these payment systems, it makes sense that these would be the ideal options to have.
In this instance, I whipped out my Mastercard as my wallet was already open from grabbing my I.D. I filled out my info and put some betting cash in my account.
Time to bet!
Placing a bet
I bet on both racing and sports on BetRoyale placing bets on desktop, mobile internet, and apps on both Android and IOS phones and tablets to get a clear picture of the betting for each platform, we will run through each one below to give a clear picture of what the betting system is like.
The Form Guide
As always I started by jumping into the racing to place a bet, randomly choosing a race I was impressed by the simplicity of how the race listing was laid out, with Flucs, insights, and TOTE as selectable options it was great to see it all displayed cleanly and in a very readable fashion with insights standing out as a handy little extra as shown in the blue icons below.
Full-Form Guide
Unfortunately, there is no Full-form guide on BetRoyale; I checked thoroughly across all devices, and it is simply not there; it would have been great if it was, as I like to thoroughly analyse all aspects of a race prior to placing a bet.
Speed Map
Once again, I could not find a speed map anywhere on the site; this may be where the insights have replaced the speed map; however, I like to see how horses average their speed on the track (especially on longer tracks).
Popping on a bet
Looking at the image of the race listing above, it is hard to go past Suit of Armour; being best rated, a strong finisher, and winning their last start at a glance they appear to be a decent bet.
For the sake of the review I just placed $5 on the nose however considering there were several other horses that were also pretty decent at a glance it may have been better to play it safe and whack it on the place.
Betting on Sports
I love placing a bet on sports as much as the next bloke (its one of my favourite weekend pasttimes), so when I opened the sport section I was stoked to see just how good the betting options were.
As expected, all major sports were there including all of the local and international ones, plus alot of the smaller sports that you dont often see on smaller bookies such as cycling and darts.
The best part about placing a bet on the sports was the number of extra betting markets that were available, head-towhead etc were all there, but it was the additional ones that blew me away
Verdict
It’s decent; BetRoyale ticks all the right boxes where it needs to and isn’t clogged up with unnecessary features and functions that hardly get used.
Will I use it as a regular betting site? probably not, but only because I have a list of betting sites that I already use.
BetRoyale looks good, feels great, has decent promotions and bonuses and is a well-rounded site. Recommended.
