The NRL Draw 2023 has been released and the season is finally in full swing, and we are nothing short of thrilled at the fact that we will finally be able to watch the game again!
All eyes this year will be on the Redcliffe Dolphins as they step up to the plate for their first year in the NRL, and with Jesse Bromwich being announced as their captain it will be interesting to see how the Dolphins stack up in their first season.
While Melbourne Storm has held onto Cameron Munster having re-signed him until 2027, they have also suffered a significant loss with Brandon Smith moving to the Sydney Roosters.
The Panthers have suffered no big losses this season retaining most of their team for the draw, and with the re-signing of Nathan Cleary and Dylan Edwards, fans will be confident that their team is sure to make an impact once again this year.

How to Watch the NRL
There is nothing better in this world than watching your favourite NRL team live in-person however sometimes the universe just doesn’t let it happen. Thankfully there are plenty of other options that enable us hardcore NRL fans to watch the sport even if we can’t be there in person.
Domestic Broadcasting Partners
The domestic broadcasting partner for the NRL is Channel 9, we have taken the liberty to throw the links in for all the ways to view the NRL so that this is as easy as possible.
-
Foxtel
Foxtel has been giving their customers access to the NRL for decades, because of so many other streaming sites coming onto the scene in recent years their numbers have dropped however their sports enthusiasts are still going strong.
-
Kayo
Kayo Sports has quickly risen through the ranks to become the biggest sport streaming brand in the world, with thousands of sporting events available each year there really is no better option when it comes to a sports streaming provider.
Watch the AFL Overseas
We all know there is nothing worse than not being able to watch your favourite NRL team play while travelling overseas, but don’t worry there are still ways to access the Rugby with a backpack on!
-
WatchNRL
WatchNRL is officially the streaming partner for the NRL and has live access to every single game including all of the finals, WatchNRL is available on mobile, tablet, computer, or TV (with an internet connection of course). WatchNRL is not available in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands however, you may be able to use a VPN, we recommend using ExpressVPN.
-
Sky
Only available to New Zealand residents, the Sky Network streams every NRL match live and on-demand.
You may also access the NRL from a number of the domestic methods while overseas, however, this all comes down to the country you are residing in and what VPN you are using.
