GoldenRush is bringing fun back to betting, in this GoldenRush review we will be looking at all aspects of the GoldenRush betting site hailing from Australia.
GoldenRush Review and Rating
TLDR Verdict: As far as betting sites go, GoldenRush was surprisingly right up there at the top with good quality betting sites in terms of sports and racing availability, functionality, and easy navigation, if I really needed to get down to the nitty gritty it is missing a couple of things like racing and sports futures, live streaming, and a full form guide, but even most of the big betting sites are missing some of those features.
GoldenRush Pros and Cons
What We Like | What We Don’t Like |
---|---|
Good Sports Markets | No Phone Support |
Competitive Odds | No Racing or Sports Futures |
Same Game Multis | No Live Streaming |
Quick App |
How’s the Layout?
I really like the layout of GoldenRush. It has the same feel as other betting sites we are all accustomed to in Australia, but it definitely brings a different vibe to the app; it is smooth, easy to use, and, from what I can tell, has no bugs or glitches in its software.
Let’s Fill in the Signup form.
Time to Sign Up!
By clicking on the signup button, I was immediately brought to a page in which I was able to create an account; what really grabbed my attention though was how fast it actually was to sign up, within 1 minute, I was up and running as the only information I needed to provide is shown on the screenshot below…. very nice!

Time for some bankroll.
Adding some funds
GoldenRush only has two depositing methods available; at first, I was a little disappointed, but once I thought about it, I realized this is probably the most optimal way of funding an account, and considering everyone in Australia has a MasterCard of some form, it is essentially the most user-friendly solution that caters to everyone.
Time for a bet!
Placing a bet
I placed bets on sports and racing by desktop, app (android and IOS), tablet (android and IOS), and also by mobile internet, for the sake of the GoldenRush review (and to not throw dozens of images in that you dont want to see) I will focus on the desktop version as that was easiest for images.
The Form Guide
The short form guide on GoldenRush race listings is extremely simple and easy to read with TOTE, insights, and flucs all displayed neatly on the page; insights would without a doubt be my favourite part of the race listing as it quickly and effectively gives you fast information about the upcoming race, it also shows you which horses are losing or gaining bets quickly as shown by the flame.
Full-Form Guide
GoldenRush does not offer a Full-Form Guide, which, to be honest, was a little bit disappointing, but considering most people don’t actually use it, they may have chosen that it wasn’t incredibly beneficial.
Speed Map
There is no speed map on GoldenRush; they will want to introduce this in the future if they are looking to use this layout, as they can place a short summarized speed map next to each horse.
Popping on a bet
In the race above I placed a bet on Sioux Warrior, while the favourite happened to have a lot better odds the way their race listing shows the insights and fluctuations it was easy to see that the favourite was quickly losing value, while Sioux Warrior was gaining traction and was best rated for the race, a worthy bet for a quick study of the race.
Setting your Deposit Limit
You can set a deposit limit right after completing the sign up form and also when setting your deposit.
Betting on Sports
now that the racing is taken care of let’s jump into the sports side of things and see what is on offer, from the home screen there are a bunch of quick link buttons in the centre for sports which came to be a little confusing as there was no real clear indication between some of the ball sports (as shown below), however this appeared only to be an issue on desktop because on app it was much clearer and easy to follow, simply click the sports button down the bottom then choose the sport you wish to bet on.
Verifying your account
To verify my account took around the same amount of time as it did to originally sign up (1 minute or so), I simply fed my personal details in including my drivers license and before I knew it verification was sorted so my account would not be blocked and I was able to withdraw funds when needed.
Verdict
I really like them! the way the GoldenRush app is designed with images continually moving and being interactive really grabs your attention, the colour scheme works well with the company, and overall my experience was a positive one with no issues or bugs to be found on their site.
