Online betting operator Dabble and analytics and statistics provider BetMakers Technology Group announced they have extended their partnership. The mobile wagering company decided to renew the technology contract which allowed BetMakers to provide fixed-odds solutions for Dabble’s betting app.
The renewal of the partnership agreement was shared at the same time with the news that BetMakers has completed the buy-back of 10% of its shares. The company’s shares increased 13% in value following the buy-back announcement.
BetMakers Excited to be Part of Dabble’s Growth Journey
Dabble CEO Tom Rundle was delighted with the extension of the partnership, saying it was “instrumental” in their success and that BetMakers’ solutions enabled them to “offer unrivalled racing products and pricing strategies.”
BetMakers CEO Jake Henson said everyone in the company was excited about the renewal of their engagement with Dabble. Henson noted that the Price Manager product proved to be a particular success for Dabble.
BetMakers’ chief was delighted that they would continue to be part of Dabble’s “growth journey” and hoped they would have a productive relationship.
Boardroom Changes and Cost Base Reductions
In addition to renewing the Dabble partnership and buying back some of its shares, BetMakers has also undergone several boardroom changes recently.
Former BetMakers CEO Todd Buckingham stepped down at the beginning of this year. BetMakers’ chief of North American operations, Christian Stuart, also exited the company in April as part of the changes.
Henson also addressed BetMakers’ cost base reduction and efficiency initiative, expected to reduce overhead expenses and result in significant savings for the company. He said their “cost base has been reset” thanks to the strategic review of their operating mode.
The BetMakers CEO added that their “ongoing commitment” to the initiative was supported by various investments in their technology and the “extended rollout” of their platforms.
