On Thursday night at the MCG, Geelong will come out on top against Carlton. Despite their disappointing start to the season, Geelong has a strong history against Carlton and has covered the line in their last six matches following a loss.

With Jeremy Cameron, Gary Rohan and Patrick Dangerfield in the squad, the Cats will have plenty of firepower to take on Carlton’s defence. While Charlie Curnow and Harry McKay have shown promise for Carlton, their team has struggled to hold onto leads and has lost each of their last 16 matches against reigning premiers.

Expect a hard-fought game, but Geelong will finish on top with a final score of 90-73.

Brisbane vs Melbourne

Melbourne is on fire with 12 consecutive interstate wins, and they’re ready to take on Brisbane at the Gabba. Brisbane’s recent loss to Port Adelaide and lack of player performance are concerning. However, Melbourne has their own impressive stats, with Clayton Oliver and Christian Petracca dominating against Brisbane in previous matches. Even without Kysaiah Pickett.

The Demons have the edge to win, and I predict a close game, with Melbourne finishing 89-85.

Collingwood vs Port Adelaide

The Pies are flying high after their remarkable comeback win last week against Geelong, while Port Adelaide put on a dominant display in their opener against Brisbane. Collingwood has an excellent record at the MCG, and they look unstoppable, with Jordan De Goey and Nick Daicos in top form. However, Port Adelaide has been known to be a formidable opponent, and with Todd Marshall and Jason Horne-Francis firing on all cylinders, they won’t go down easily.

The underdog has covered the line in 14 of Collingwood’s last 17 matches. It won’t be an easy win, but the Pies will show they are a serious contender this season.

I’m tipping Collingwood to keep their hot streak alive and win by 10 points with a final score of 92-82.

Adelaide vs Richmond

It’s time for Adelaide and Richmond to battle it out at the Adelaide Oval, and I’ve got to say, it’s going to be a ripper of a match!

Adelaide may have lost to GWS in their last game, but with Izak Rankine’s impressive debut, they’ll be looking to turn things around. However, Richmond is not one to underestimate, especially with Tom Lynch’s game-saving goal in their draw against Carlton. Daniel Rioli and Tim Taranto will be bringing their A-game, making it hard for Adelaide to get the upper hand.

Even though Adelaide won their last match against Richmond, I’m predicting a different outcome this time around. Richmond has lost eight of its last 11 away games as a favourite, but they’ll be out to prove the odds wrong.

My final score prediction is Richmond winning 92-85. So get ready to see some top-notch footy, and let’s see if Richmond can make their mark on Adelaide’s turf!

Bulldogs vs St Kilda

The Dogs might have suffered a crushing defeat in their season opener, but let’s not forget they’re a team packed with stars, including Jackson Macrae and Marcus Bontempelli.

On the other hand, the Saints might have pulled off an impressive win against Freo, but they’ve got a woeful record in night matches. Plus, the Bulldogs have won their last nine Saturday night games at Marvel Stadium, and they’ve already beaten St Kilda in their previous encounter there.

I reckon the Dogs will bounce back from their loss and take the win with a score of 81-79. It’s gonna be a close one, but the Bulldogs will come out on top!

Fremantle vs North Melbourne

Fremantle may have suffered a loss against St Kilda last week, but they’ve got some top-notch players in their squad that’ll be out for blood, including Luke Ryan, Hayden Young, and Brennan Cox. Plus, they’ve won the last four games against the Kangaroos with an average margin of almost 70 points! North Melbourne may have Harry Sheezel in fine form, but that won’t be enough to take them over the line against the Dockers.

I expect the final score to be 96-63 in favour of the Dockers. It’s a done deal.

Sydney vs Hawthorn

The Swans are looking to continue their winning form against Hawthorn this Sunday. They came out firing in Round 1, smashing the Suns by 49 points, and with Chad Warner and Dylan Stephens in fine form; they’re sure to dominate again. On the other hand, Hawthorn suffered a heavy 59-point loss against Essendon, leaving them with much to prove. Callum Mills was sensational the last time the Swans faced off against the Hawks, and I reckon he’ll put in another solid performance this weekend.

Sydney has won eight straight matches at the SCG, and with their form, it’s hard to see them losing this one. Hawthorn’s defence was all over the place last week, and I think Sydney will have no trouble finding the goals.

The Hawks have a challenging task ahead of them, and I don’t think they’ll be able to keep up with the Swans’ pace. Get ready for a bloodbath; this one’s going to be a cracker!

I’m predicting a final score of 105-64 in favour of the Swans, with Mills and Warner leading the charge.

Essendon vs Gold Coast

It’s time to discuss the upcoming clash between Essendon and Gold Coast at Marvel Stadium. Now, listen up because this one’s a no-brainer. Essendon is coming off a dominant performance against Hawthorn, while Gold Coast suffered a disappointing loss to Sydney.

Essendon’s Darcy Parish was on fire last round, with 37 disposals, while Archie Perkins kicked three goals. On the other hand, Gold Coast had few highlights, with Jarrod Witts their only real standout. To make matters worse for Gold Coast, they have never beaten Essendon in Victoria.

Now, let’s take a look at the stats. Essendon has won each of their nine previous matches as favourites against Gold Coast, and they have won all six of their meetings in Victoria. Essendon has also gone over the total match points line in their last three matches. On the other hand, Gold Coast has failed to cover the line in eight of their previous nine March matches.

My prediction: Essendon will beat Gold Coast with a score of 96-81. Essendon is simply the better team here, and with their current form, they will be tough to beat. So, put your money on Essendon to cover the line and come out on top. Get ready for some footy!

West Coast vs GWS

After a disappointing start to the season, the Eagles will be hoping to turn their fortunes around in front of their home crowd. However, it won’t be an easy feat as they face the Giants who had an impressive come-from-behind win against Adelaide last week. The Giants will be looking to continue their momentum, and with Tom Green and Stephen Coniglio in top form, they will be a hard team to beat.

On the other hand, West Coast is still struggling to find their feet, having lost 18 of their last 19 matches. While they have some top-notch players like Luke Shuey, Dom Sheed, and Shannon Hurn, they need to step up their game if they want to stand a chance against the Giants. The Eagles will put up a good fight, but I believe the Giants’ form will be too much for them to handle.

Considering all of this, my prediction is that the Giants will come out on top with a score of 88-82.
