Transport

Arriving by Train

Olympic park is the closest train station to Accor Stadium and is roughly a five minute walking distance (depending on how fast those excited little legs of your can carry you), trains from Lidcombe Station to Olympic Park will be operating every 10 minutes during the event.

There will be additional express and limited stop train services operating throughout the NRL Grand final from central and western lines to ensure the crowd flows as easily as possible.

Arriving by Bus

Sydney Buses will be operating a number of services directly to Sydney Olympic Park throughout the NRL Final including:

  • Route 525 – Parramatta and Strathfield via Sydney Olympic Park
  • Route 526 – Rhodes to Burwood via Sydney Olympic Park Ferry Wharf
  • Route 533 – Sydney Olympic Park to Chatswood via Rhodes and North Ryde

You may wish to check your NRL ticketing information as some tickets have public transport included.

Arriving by Car

I cannot stress enough that you need to pre-book car parking for the NRL Grand Final, 7-10 Days in advance is optimilly a good time to pre-book you carpark as it can get quite messy trying to book a park at a later date.

It is also strongly suggested by the NRL that you plan your trip ahead of time and leave early to ensure plenty of spare time in case of road closures and increased traffic due to the Finals.

If you are planning on using a ride share such as Uber, it is recommended to be dropped off at the taxi rank near the Novotel Hotel located on Olympic Boulevard in Sydney Olmpic Park which is only a short walking distance to the stadium, this removes congestion at the gates while also saving you some cash.

Parking costs from $6.00 per hour.

Watching at Home

For the rest of Australia that is not fighting tooth and nail to grab a ticket to the NRL, it is available to watch with nationally on channel Nine and 9 Now, for New Zealand fans, you will be able to tune into Sky NZ to watch the game.
