Bet365 and the PGA TOUR signed a three-year agreement that makes Bet365 the PGA TOUR’s official betting operator outside North America. The territories where Bet365 will offer PGA TOUR betting content and marketing include Australia, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
With the agreement, Bet365 has also become the first non-US partner of the PGA TOUR. In addition to Australia, Ireland, and the UK, the betting operator will offer PGA TOUR odds and content in Canada too.
Teeing Off in Style
The deal that runs through 2024 allows Bet365 to become the main source of odds on pgatour.com and TOURCast. The bookmaker will also have exclusive access to the PGA TOUR’s platform and will improve the fan experience even further. The PGA TOUR platform allows golf fans to see all the shots from all groups and gives them a 3D portrayal of the golf course at the same time.
VP of Gaming at the PGA TOUR Scott Warfield said that they were excited to work with Bet365 and were looking forward to expanding their sports betting initiatives in international markets.
He praised Bet365 for being the first bookmaker to incorporate the PGA TOUR’s live betting product. Warfield added that Bet365 will experience “tremendous growth” because the betting operator was “at the forefront” of live betting in golf.
Bet365 will also get the rights to advertise PGA TOUR marks, media, and partner platforms in all of Australia, Canada, Ireland and the UK.
A Bet365 spokesperson said that the sportsbook was delighted to work with “one of the most iconic brands in global sport” and that it would continue to offer the best live betting experience to all golf wagering enthusiasts.
