Wolfden is a site you can trust… that is, of course, if you can find it (we found it somewhat challenging in our search, so we have provided the link here to make it easier for you). Unfortunately, there is no desktop version of this betting app, so it is only available as a mobile betting app which in hindsight makes it highly functional in today’s age.
How’s it look?
The website features a dark blue/grey background with white text and red buttons; it can sometimes be a little challenging to read. I imagine if you had a phone with a small screen, you would squint from time to time.
Where do they excel?
Their expertise is undoubtedly racing- this is reflected in the markets. They offer excellent coverage for all Australian race meetings and many international programs that the TAB doesn’t cover. In this aspect, they get my vote.
What about their promotions?
I could not find any promotions on their app; however, I found a deposit match offer and boosted odds (known on Wolfden as “Price Pump”).
WOLFDEN BOOSTED ODDS
Wolfden’s boosted odds or price pump, as it is better known on the app, comes with two forms of boosted odds: racing pump and multi pump.
Racing Pump
Each day bettors are given two “Racing Pumps”, which allow them to increase the odds of their racing bet. To use your racing pump, follow the steps below.
- Find your horse and add it to your bet slip.
- Tap the “price pump” to increase your odds for the selected bet.
- Tap the confirm button to place your bet.
- If the horse wins, you will win the total of the increased odds.
Multi Pump
Bettors are allowed two additional “Multi Pumps” every day, which increases the total odds of two multi bets. To use the Multi Pump, use the following steps.
- Add your multi to your bet slip by finding and selecting it.
- Pressing the “multi pump” button to increase your return on the chosen bet.
- Confirm your bet by tapping the “Confirm” button.
- You will win the total of the increased odds if the multi wins.
Wolfden Features
Due to Wolfden being a social betting app, they have a range of functions not usually found on your standard betting sites such as “Wolfchat” and “Howls”.
Wolfchat
Wolfchat is essentially a section within the app that acts like a messaging service; you can choose between people you are following, chat privately and discuss the information you have regarding upcoming races and sports.
Howls
A feature of Wolfden that makes it unique is “Howls.” It’s like Twitter, but for members to post about racing, sports or anything else. In today’s age, self-expression is often limited, but on Wolfden, you can say what you want, and there are handy little betting tips to be discovered if you read other people’s posts.
MOBILE-ONLY

While Same Game Multi’s are available, they don’t meet the same standards as your major sports betting sites. For example, I selected a game in the NFL that only gave me five different SGM options: first-half winner, anytime touchdown, first touchdown scorer, handicap, and margin.
