Tennis Australia has signed a multi-year agreement with Stats Perform, a sports tech company that delivers betting predictions using AI and machine learning. Stats Perform will become the official distributor of tennis data and live streaming to licensed Tennis Australia betting operators.
Stats Perform will get the exclusive rights to distribute live streams and data of the Australian Open, the qualifying rounds of the tournament, as well as other Tennis Australia events.
Tennis Australia, on the other hand, will benefit from media tools such as PressBox Graphics and Opta Facts. It will also have access to news services to boost tennis audiences for Tennis Australia tournaments.
Integrity Divisions Will Fight Tennis Match Fixing
The two organizations will join forces to fight match-fixing too. Stats Perform has an Integrity division that will work with Tennis Australia’s Integrity Unity and will monitor and report on suspicious betting activity.
The tools at their disposal will include Stats Perform’s pre-tournament risk assessments and investigative digital forensics, as well as the company’s analysis of global betting markets.

Cedric Conelis, Tennis Australia Chief Revenue Officer, said that Stats Perform was always at the forefront of innovation, meaning the company was “a clear choice” when Tennis Australia looked for a partner that would provide more opportunities to engage with tennis fans.
Carl Mergele, Stats Perform Chief Executive Officer, was honoured to have been chosen as a Tennis Australia Partner and said that both organizations had the same shared goal of “protecting and elevating the fan experience.”
Mergele added that Stats Perform always focused on providing “incredible entertainment” to help sports organizations and betting operators capture the attention of the fan for longer.
