Unibet has entered the Metaverse in an effort to give users a completely new experience. The virtual sports platform will allow people to take part in a wide range of sports challenges, from soccer and tennis to basketball and boxing matches.
The Kindred Group said that it launched the Unibet Arena “in line” with their Kindred Value motto – “We seek to innovate.” The arena where Metaverse users will have a chance to partake in a total of fourteen challenges is described as yet another move with which the Kindred Group explored new territory.
A Responsible Virtual Wagering Experience
Pierre Reboux, who is in charge of Marketing and Sponsorship at Kindred, said that even though there were a lot of brands operating in the Metaverse, they tried to be different.
To that end, they decided to work together with The Sandbox, a French gaming platform that provides a uniquely immersive gaming experience in the Metaverse. Unibet would become the brand’s first sports betting partnership.
Unibet is one of the leading responsible gaming brands in the real world and will continue to do that in the Metaverse. The sports betting platform will provide users with all its responsible gaming tools in the virtual world too.
As part of the official launch, Unibet also organized social media challenges where it rewarded players with enticing prizes and trophies.
