NBA Tips for the week starting Monday, 17th April

Welcome to our first week of playoff action! with a lot of exciting matchups happening this week in both conferences it should be a great week of NBA basketball

We’ll be taking a look at some of the most recommended betting sites and showcasing which bets they think are most likely to succeed; some of our favourites include bet365BetrLadbrokesNeds, and BoomBet.

#1 Best Bet (NBA) Monday, April 17th

  • Suns vs Clippers

Our first bet of the week sees Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers travelling to Phoenix to face the Phoenix Suns.

When Kevin Durant plays for the Suns, they will be 9-0. The Suns, who many consider championship favourites due to the amazing scoring ability of Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, combined with the playmaking of Chris Paul and the rebounding and finishing of Deandre Ayton, will undoubtedly be difficult to stop in a seven-game series.

Moreover, with the Clippers still missing All-Star guard Paul George, I expect the Suns to breeze through this one at home.

  • Suggested Bet: Suns

#2 Best Bet (NBA) Wednesday, April 19th

  • Cavaliers vs Knicks

Our second best bet of the week features what many think to be the best first-round game of the season, with the New York Knicks travelling to Cleveland to face the Cavaliers.

The Cavaliers have outperformed everyone’s expectations this season, finishing with a 31-10 record at home, thanks to incredible scoring performances from Donovan Mitchell and great playmaking from Darius Garland. The play of their guards, combined with the defensive abilities of their bigs Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, make them a tough matchup for anyone.

Although the Cavs have been fantastic, the Knicks have also outperformed expectations with the addition of guard Jalen Brunson, pushing them to the fifth spot after a difficult start to the season.

My main concern is the erratic play of star big Julius Randle. Because this game is being played in Cleveland, I’m going with the Cavaliers in what should be an exciting clash.

#3 Best Bet (NBA) Friday, April 21st

  • Warriors vs Kings

The exciting Sacramento Kings and last year’s winners, the Golden State Warriors, are our final best bets for the week.

The Kings, who finished third in the West despite being considered a play-in team at the start of the season, have been the most surprising team in the league this year, with Fox and Sabonis both playing like all-stars and outstanding shooting from guys like Keegan Murray and Kevin Huerter.

Although the Kings have been fantastic, the Warriors are without a doubt the scariest team in the league that did not finish as a top four seed (due primarily to injury), and with Andrew Wiggins back for the series, I anticipate the Warriors taking this one at home in the third game.
