NBA Tips for the week 18 starting Monday, 27th February
This week will be a very competitive week as we return from the All-Star break. With teams looking to make one final playoff push, with there only being 20 games left for the year in the regular season, now’s the time.
We’ll be taking a look at some of the most recommended betting sites and showcasing which bets they think are most likely to succeed; some of our favourites include bet365, Betr, Ladbrokes, Neds, and BoomBet.
#1 Best Bet (NBA) Monday, February 27th
- Nuggets vs Clippers
Our first bet of the week has the new and improved Clippers heading to Denver to take on the Nuggets. With the Clippers making moves to add an incredibly deep roster adding guys like Mason Plumlee, Bones Hyland and Russel Westbrook. They will be looking to sneak a win on the road against the top seeded Nuggets in hope of solidifying a playoff spot.
But it won’t be easy as they’re taking on the top seeded Nuggets who currently have the best home record in the league, and with Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon returning from injury they are going to be very tough to beat especially at home, as we’ve seen how dangerous they are when they are healthy.
Overall we think the Nuggets will take this one at home, but it will be a great game and should really give us an idea of how good this new Clippers team really is.

#2 Best Bet (NBA) Wednesday, March 1st
- Grizzlies vs Lakers
Our second best bet of the week has two teams struggling to find form at the moment as the new Lakers travel to Memphis to play the Grizzlies. The Lakers who have been plagued by injury all year finally have a healthy roster and have looked great all year whenever they have had one are desperate to make a playoff push making big moves before the deadline to ensure they are not wasting the last good years of LeBron’s career. Meanwhile the Grizzlies who started the year incredibly well have fallen into a big slump after Ja Morant made comments he was “fine in the west”.
Although Jaren Jackson Jr and Ja Morant have still been great they have struggled to find that spark they had to start the year. Although the Grizzlies have struggled, the Lakers have been terrible defensively and will struggle to stop Ja while also not allowing threes, JJJ should also do a decent job keeping Anthony Davis considerably quiet, this compared with the Grizzlies great home record gives them the edge in this one.

#3 Best Bet (NBA) Friday, March 3rd
- Mavericks vs 76ers
Our final best bet of the week will be one of the most anticipated games of the week with two of the top teams in both conferences facing off. With both teams having two superstars with the 76ers having Joel Embiid and James Harden while the Mavericks have Luka Doncic and newly acquired Kyrie Irving. Both teams have been great so far this year and have been viewed as genuine contenders. The 76ers have won 7 of their last 10 whilst the Mavericks have won 6 of their last 10. This should be a great battle of the superstars, but I see the 76ers taking this one because of Joel Embiid.
