NBA Tips for the week starting Monday, 8th May
After the first week of the second round, the only team with a commanding 2-0 lead is the Nuggets over the Suns, whilst the Celtics/76ers, Knicks/Heat and Lakers/Warriors series are all tied up at 1 a piece.
Which should make for a great week of competitive basketball.

#1 Best Bet (NBA) Monday, May 8th
- 76ers vs Celtics
Our first bet of the week has the most exciting matchup of the round so far with Boston in Philadelphia to take on the 76ers, the 76ers who snatched a game on the road from the Celtics with no Embiid shook up the NBA world last week.
But they were comfortably handled by the depth of the Celtics in game 2 despite Joel Embiid returning after winning his first MVP.
James Harden who went off in game one for 45 points and the game-winner had a rough game two only connecting on 2 field goals, will look to bounce back as well as Joel Embiid who was very rusty in game 2 after returning from a long break.
Although I see the Celtics taking game 3 of the series I see the 76ers tying the series up at 2 a piece in game 4.

#2 Best Bet (NBA) Thursday, May 11th
- Suns vs Nuggets (if Necessary)
Our second best bet of the week has Game 6 of the most surprising series of the playoffs so far as the Nuggets are in Phoenix for a possible game 6 against the Suns.
The Suns who have struggled offensively so far in this series will possibly be without Chris Paul for a period of time which could lead to their offense being even clunkier than what it has been.
While the Suns have struggled the Nuggets have been great, with Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic putting up superstar numbers and the Nuggets supporting cast stepping up and making big plays when needed, they look like the team to beat at the moment.

#3 Best Bet (NBA) Friday, May 12th
- Heat vs Knicks
Our final best bet of the week is the game 6 matchup between the Miami Heat and the New York Knicks in Miami.
Both teams have struggled with injuries in this series with Julius Randle missing game one for the Knicks and Jimmy Butler missing game 2 for the Heat.
Although both teams lost without their best players the Heat looked considerably better in their game with Jimmy and are the current favourites to win the series.
If Jimmy Butler can get back to the scoring presence he was in the first round against the Bucks I see the Heat taking this one in game 6 at home.
