The Pakenham Racecourse holds today’s Vic meeting, it will be run on the synthetic track with the rail in the true position for the entire circuit.

The track usually plays pretty fairly, races will be dictated by the tempo.

Today’s Pakenham racing tips can be found below,

Best Bet

Race 8: 9mile Fresh Bm58 Handicap – 1400m – Expected Tempo: Solid

#11 NEW YORK SCANDAL

drops sharply in grade here after a nice run at Caulfield against a few smart ones.

This is not a strong field at all and that race rates well for this.

Hopefully she can get the suck run from barrier 2 and just get a nice cart in off the leaders backs.

Next Best Tip

Race 2: Gippsland Premium Quarries Maiden Plate – Betting Odds – 1100m – Expected Tempo: Below average

#7 HOT CHILLI MAMA

happy to give this filly another shot, was well spruiked first up at Mornington after coming over from NZ.

Ran 3rd to ORCHESTRAL.

Perhaps just needed the FU run, was really getting into her work late going 2 lengths above benchmark.

Hoping she can be a bit more positive and just be off the leaders backs.

#2 IT’S GAI TIME was an expensive purchase so keep a close eye if there is any market support.

Best Each Way/Roughie

Race 6: Dalton Consulting Engineers Bm58 – Betting Odds   Expected Tempo: Average

#10 SWEET LIAISON

Might be one at odds that can improve on the synthetic.

Yes, has only had the 1 win but this field doesn’t look overly strong and this is more her distance.

Not going silly but will have a few shekels on each way.

#6 THE OLD LION is another one at odds.
