Cronulla Sharks vs Gold Coast Titans Predictions

Saturday, March 7, 2026

5:30pm AEDT @ Sharks Stadium, Cronulla

Final Score Prediction

Cronulla Sharks
Sharks
32 : 13
Gold Coast Titans
Titans

Of all the games this round, this is the one the model feels most strongly about. 88% confidence, 19-point predicted margin, Sharks at home.

On paper it lines up pretty cleanly.

The Titans have had a rough trot of it and come into 2026 with plenty still to prove. Cronulla at home is a tough way to start the season.

I don’t have a lot of reasons to argue against this one – but I’ve seen the Titans show up and spoil a perfectly good bet before, so I’m keeping that in the back of my mind.

Best Bets

The -8.5 at $1.92 is the play here, and honestly, it’s the cleanest line bet of the round for me.

We’re predicting a 19-point win, and the line only asks for nine. That’s a decent buffer.

I’m still not going crazy on it – Round 1 is Round 1 – but if there’s one game this weekend where I’m comfortable putting a bit more on a line bet, this is it.

The Sharks should control this from the opening whistle if they’re anywhere near their best.

What to Watch

  • Sharks at home: Cronulla in front of their home crowd is a different side. If they set the tone early, the Titans will find it a very long afternoon.
  • Titans’ start: Gold Coast need to stay in touch through the first half. If they fall behind by two scores early, the line is almost certainly gone.
  • The buffer: We’re predicting 19 points, line is 8.5. That’s a lot of room. But keep an eye on any late Titans tries that could tighten the margin without changing the result.
