The weather looks fine, and the track should be in the good 4 range.

Race 1 #2 LYRICAL LAD

Taking a chance on a roughie here. Seems to be building to 1600m which he gets here. Each way all day at the price.

Race 2 #7 ROYAL MERCHANT

Lightly raced filly who ran behind Jaquinot last time out. Gets the special Jmac treatment. I can’t believe the $6 about for her.

Race 3 #3 MAHARBA

Not a stack of confidence here but if we had to pick, Maharba would be it.

Race 4 #8 TIMOUR

Worth a shout here at these odds. Brings some interesting form lines from overseas and gains the Waller/Jmac polish.

Race 5 #8 ANNAVISTO

Sometimes the best thing you can do is just back the best horse in the race.

Race 6 #4 BANK MAUR

2nd to Jaquinot last time out by a whisker. 2nd up here and should be cherry ripe to rock and roll.

Race 7 #7 SEPTEMBER RUN & #11 COOLANGATTA

I mean Nature Strip is EXTREMELY hard to beat but we think there is some value in these 2 in case Nature Strip doesn’t show up. Each way.

Race 8 #3 SCALLOPINI

Should have plenty of improvement to come off that first-up run. Happy to be in his corner. Age is only a number, right?

Race 9 #10 D’JUMBUCK

Looks like a cracking bet in the get-out. Up in grade here but looks up to the task.
