The Caulfield Racecourse will be run on a soft track most likely with all this rain that is due. The rail is out 12m for the entire circuit.

It’s going to be a big watch with the weather. Really would like to watch the first 2 races of the day to see if there is any patterns.

I believe just sitting off the on-pace leaders is going to be the place to be, they will most likely peel wide later in the day.

Today’s Caulfield racing tips can be found below,

Best Bet

Race 10: Expected Tempo: Solid

#8 ST LAWRENCE

We have to wait all day for the best bet to arrive.

St Lawrence looks well placed here, loves this setup, really like the drop back to 1400.

2 goes at this track and distance for 2 wins.

Rain around will suit. Only runs well IMO.

Also having a small bet on #3 EARLSWOOD here 2nd up.

Really liked his FU run which can be easily hidden.

Had no luck in running.

Maps well today.

Next Best Tip

Race 8: Expected Tempo: Fast

#1 FLEETWOOD

Hard to knock a horse in form, has been dominating this prep.

Hopefully Mr Lane can be positive on speed and kick up to not get boxed in.

Beat The Black Cloud last start who came down and won last weekend at Flemington.

The rain around will only improve his chances.

Only knock is this predicted fast tempo

Best Each Way/Roughie

Race 3: Expected Tempo: Above Average

#1 GREGOLIMO

Can recapture past ratings here.

Last start was completely blocked in running.

Looked to be motoring.

Sharp drop in grade here. Keen.
