The weather looks fine, and the track should be in the good 4 range.
Race 1 #6 SO UNUSUAL & #7 WAHINE TOA
Interesting race to kick off proceedings, could just about make a case for any of the runners. Happy to play the 2 mentioned as we think they have the greatest chance.
Race 2 #4 PERICLES
Quite a tough race to assess. Does Calico Jack win having the fitness edge? Pericles seems to have plenty of ability and his trials have been sound. Going to trust that the blue army has Pericles ready to go.
Race 3 #1 BARBER & #3 BRAVE HALO
Looks like another fascinating race here where you can just about make a case for much of the field. Barber and Brave Halo seem to be the pick of the bunch.
Race 4 #1 CHARM STONE
Don’t overcomplicate it. Just take the best horse in the race. Could entertain a small saver on #2 DE SONIC BOOM
Race 5 #13 DUSSE & #6 LACED UP HEELS
If there was a race today that could present some value this is it.
Race 6 #10 ARGENTIA
Going to take a stab at Argentia. Got a lot of time for this horse and will be right in the finish.
Race 7 #1 I’M THUNDERSTRUCK & #10 JACQUINOT
Gee what a cracking race this is shaping up to be, If I’m Thunderstruck is right to go he should be winning. Will absolutely relish Sandown. Jacquinot is a massive danger with the fitness edge. Happy to back both for a profit.
Race 8 #5 CORNER POCKET
Looks like a lovely race here for Corner Pocket to progress. Has the fitness edge on some of these rivals and I see no reason why this boy can’t go on with it.
Race 9 #3 HERE TO SHOCK
Will do us just fine in the get-out. each way all day here at those odds.
