WHISTLEFIELD who can certainly run them ragged this race.

Faded in the final 50m last start behind KUROYANAGI last start.

Seems to keep finding no matter the tempo.

Slight freshen up which suits.

If they’re finding it hard to make up ground today with the wind expected, then there is no reason why WHISTLEFIELD can’t keep motoring.

Once again, the favourite here looks extremely hard to beat.

Was really impressive first up off such a lengthy spell, upside is the only thing expected.

2 runners in the race i thought could surprise are AWAPUNI PRINCESS & FRENCHMANS BAY

FB: hasn’t done a great deal this prep racing on the synthetic.

His best runs have been when racing on the turf at this distance and conditions. A return to form and a win certainly wouldnt shock me.

AP: Similar to FB, it seems she saves her best for being back on top of the ground in which she get’s today.

FEDERER looks the obvious choice, was an impressive first up start and looks to have a bit of ability.

No reason why he can’t go on with it here. The sub $2 doesn’t excite, nor does it ever.

2 i thought could run a cheeky race if they decide to turn up is GHETTO SUPERSTAR & KANGAROO COURT

Both have the credentials and have been off their “A” game for a little while now.

I’m a sucker for an out of form horse.
