WIN Stadium in Wollongong has a capacity of 22,000, with a mix of grandstand seating and a grass hill area.
Yes, fans can sit on the northern hill, which offers a general admission, family-friendly experience though it is often recognised as a standing area. It’s a popular spot for relaxed viewing, especially during NRL and local sporting events, however, portable chairs such as camping chairs are not permitted.
The eastern and western grandstands have a roof, providing covered seating, but the northern hill and southern seating areas are uncovered.
The stadium is named after WIN Corporation, a media company that owns WIN Television. They hold the naming rights, with the venue previously known as Wollongong Showground before the rebranding.
