Dolphins vs Broncos Prediction
Redcliffe Dolphins vs Brisbane Broncos Predictions Game 3 of Round…
Round 4 and the picture is starting to get clearer – and uglier for some sides.
Melbourne are looking like the real deal at #1. The Panthers just put 40 on the Roosters. The Dolphins are on a genuine attacking tear. And down the bottom, the Dragons are still searching for their first win while the Titans are barely keeping their head above water.
Eight games across Thursday to Sunday. I’ve run the numbers on every matchup. Here’s where I’m putting my money.
The model says Eagles by 2 at 40% confidence – and I’m not hiding from that number. The Roosters just got smashed 40-4 by Penrith, but I’m not ready to write them off entirely. The handicap is the play here, not the H2H. At +7.5, Manly don’t even need to win.

One of the cleaner calls of the round. Warriors at #3 vs Tigers at #14, conceding just 17.2 per game, averaging 30.8 in attack. Auckland are playing their best football of the season and the Tigers are 1-4. The H2H is a multi leg; the real money is on the -12.5 at $1.90.

The form guide versus the brand name. The Dolphins are averaging 36.8 PPG – best attacking numbers in the comp over the last five rounds – and they’re rolling into Suncorp to face a Broncos side that’s only managing 19.6 in attack. 40% confidence, so this is a light stake only. The handicap is the sensible play.

Looks like a coin flip on form record alone – both sides are 2-3. It’s not. Canterbury’s defence (18.8 conceded) is genuinely tight, and the Knights are leaking 31.6 per game. The Bulldogs’ attack has been quiet at 14.2 PPG, which is why I’m not rushing to the -13.5. The H2H is the multi leg here.

Don’t be fooled by the identical 4-1 form records. The Panthers are +17.2 per game; the Eels are -1.2. They’ve been winning scrappy games by the skin of their teeth. Penrith are winning by piling on. At home after last week’s 40-point demolition of the Roosters, this is one of the stronger plays of the round.
→ Full Panthers vs Eels Prediction
The bet of the round. 80% confidence. Storm #1 in the competition, Cowboys #13, and North Queensland just lost to the Titans last week without Reuben Cotter. Melbourne went to Suncorp and won in Round 3. They’re not rattled by hostile environments – and Townsville on Saturday night is exactly that.
→ Full Cowboys vs Storm Prediction
Neither side is playing great football right now. The Raiders are 1-4 and scoring just 13 points a game – the lowest attacking number of anyone on this week’s card. The Sharks got belted 38-10 by the Dolphins last week, but they’re still the better defensive team here. Light stake, no heroics.

The wooden spoon preview. Power Rank #17 vs #16. Both sides in negative differential, both defences leaking 32+ per game. 45% confidence and a one-point predicted margin – this is genuinely the most uncertain game on the card. The Titans get the nod for home ground and Jayden Campbell’s return at halfback, nothing more.
