Best bet of the program, hands down. Benny Melham and Clinton Mcdonald link up here with this gelding. Plenty of excuses can be made for its first run. The home track advantage also. Clear, GET ON.

Happy to be in the corner of the first starter here in Global King. Beau Mertens knows this track like the back of his hand. I reckon the local trainer has this gelding right for all the Christmas party punters.

Race 8 #5 GIRELLO

It looks to be lovely each way bet here. The Kent-trained galloper is 2nd up and gets a cheeky claim with the apprentice jockey. Has had three goes at the track and distance for 3 placings. It will be an excellent way to finish off the meeting.
