The weather looks fine, and the track should be in the soft 5 range.

Race 1 #4 CARNABY

Going to give this colt another chance after a promising first-up run on a soft track at Canberra. Fitness seemed to give out late so banking that he has some improvement to come off that. I reckon he gives this a shake.

Race 3 #5 ULTIMATE PRIDE

I think there were excuses last time out and seems to be over the odds because of it. Happy to speck this mare at generous each-way odds.

Race 4 #9 AMORTAL

Looooves the soft going. Gets it here. Drops in grade and had a lovely trial leading into this. Should be cherry ripe.

Race 7 #10 ZANZIBAR GEM

Question marks around the soft track but seems to handle the heavy so I can’t see it being too much of a big deal. Bit of luck in running from the barrier and I think she wins.

Race 8 #11 LEFT REELING

Does not run a bad race on the going. Cheeky swing for the fences in the get-out. If they go hard I reckon she runs top 3 no worries.
