The Pakenham Racecourse will be run on the synthetic track. The rail is in the true for the entire circuit.

The track typically plays pretty evenly with the races being mostly dictated by the race tempo.

Today’s Pakenham racing tips can be found below,

Best Bet

Race 2: Expected Tempo: Below Average

#8 SUPIDO’S CHOICE

I understand the hype around EL BEATLE with it’s last start run.

But these 2 did meet a month ago and SUPIDO’S CHOICE did everything wrong and still looked like he would motor past.

He should appreciate the 1200m.

He has been given a little freshen up since and believe he has the motor to run them down.

Next Best Tip

Race 5: Expected Tempo: Solid

#10 CANTOLAGO

Complete forgive last start. Didn’t appreciate the heavy deck.

Will give a bit of cheek on speed.

Saving on #2 SUPER SOLAR who is also a great chance.

Best Each Way/Roughie

Race 8: Expected Tempo: Strong

#8 POWERBAND

Sick watch after we backed this Hayes gelding last start.

He was truck loaded and started near on favourite from around $10+ from memory.

Something went a miss when they jumped and he lost 6-10 lengths.

He still managed to peel that gap back and finish with a bit of purpose. Now how much that has taken out of him is yet to be seen.

Might be the reason for sticking to 1200m. I do believe he is better over further but trust the stable.

Currently around $19.
