The Caulfield racecourse is currently rated a good 4.

The rail is in the true for the entire circuit, giving everyone their chance.

What a cracking day of racing we have on our hands.

Today’s Caulfield racing tips can be found below,

RACE 1
12:15pm

Distance: 1700m | Class: 3YO+ BM80 | Exp Tempo: Abv Avg

Tricky little race to kick off proceedings but there may be some value to be had.

The map was a bit of a head scratcher

I believe PIAGGO will lead from LE ZEBRA and EXTREME VIRTUE

I actually don’t hate PIAGGO at a massive price. He can certainly could keep on running if right.

PLATINUM DESTROYER can go up a gear and be competitive and i’m forgiving FLASH FEELING last start.

Happy to play around the fave.

Numbers: 2 – 4 – 13 – 11

#2 FLASH FEELING & #4 PIAGGO @ BETFAIR

RACE 2
12:50pm

Distance: 1000m | Class: 3YO OPEN F | Exp Tempo: Abv Avg

The lightly raced brigade

I find these races really tricky in Spring

If I AM VELVET has started to put it all together he can go to another level.

SYMPHONY OF COLOUR is not out of it with a bit more a positive ride.

KEEPSAKE could be anything from the trials, looks to have plenty of ability.

KUROYANAGI has some great formlines and will get the drop on them.

At this stage it might be just something tiny on SOC for an upset at a price.

Numbers: 3 – 5 – 12 – 1

#5 SYMPHONY OF COLOUR @ BETFAIR

RACE 3
1:25pm

Distance: 1200m | Class: 4YO+ G3 M | Exp Tempo: Abv Avg

I think YELLOW STONE is a sneaky chance here.

If he can be a touch positive from the wide draw he’s a great chance at odds.

A LITTLE DEEP looks the obvious and will get all the favours getting the suck run behind SHAIME

BIZOT is next best.

Numbers: 3 – 6 – 15 – 9

#3 YELLOW SAM  @ BETFAIR

RACE 4
2:00pm

Distance: 1600m | Class: 4YO+ G3 M | Exp Tempo: Avg

I really think RUMBLED AGAIN can run a race here.

The speed in this race doesn’t look all that hot.

He can get a nice run in from the gate and the booking of Shinn suggests he should be ready to go.

3 runs in now building to this and was superb last start in behind ALSEPHINA

FIRE OF ETNA is another interesting runner that comes out of the same race.

Looked to be just going to the motions last start so i’m forgiving there.

Numbers: 2 – 4 – 5 – 3

#8 RUMBLED AGAIN @ BETFAIR

RACE 5
2:35pm

Distance: 1400m | Class: LR | Exp Tempo: Abv Avg

Finding it hard to get JIMMYSTAR beat.

Not many can i think. Might be case of just betting into JIMMYSTAR.

If Jimmy is off his game for what ever reason i think SAVANNAH CLOUD is the danger at odds.

RUNNING BY can run well

Numbers: 7 – 10 – 15 – 14

#7 JIMMYSTAR & #10 SAVANNAH CLOUDS @ BETFAIR

RACE 6
3:15pm

Distance: 2400m | Class: Qlty G2 | Exp Tempo: Abv Avg

Been following POST IMPRESSIONIST this whole prep and i’m not about to jump off.

2 runs in have basically been trials.

Has been SCREAAAAMING out for a dry deck which he gets here.

Needs to be in the Melbourne Cup.

Think he wins, and wins well.

Numbers: 3 – 4 – 6 – 2

#3 POST IMPRESSIONIST @ BETFAIR

RACE 7
3:50pm

Distance: 2000m | Class: 3YO+ G1 | Exp Tempo: Abv Avg

Keep it.

I gave ATISHU a chance to take this out but he’s short enough now

Would prefer it ran at Flemington

Hard to go past MR BRIGHTSIDE is what looks a weak race

Numbers: 1 – 5 – 6 – 8

No Bet

RACE 8
4:30pm

Distance: 1600m | Class: 3YO G1 | Exp Tempo: Abv Avg

BROADSIDING.

Next.

Numbers: 1 – 6 – 5 – 7

No Bet

RACE 9
5:10pm

Distance: 1100m | Class: 3YO+ G2 | Exp Tempo: Abv Avg

OSCAR’S FORTUNE looks like a nice bet.

Tick over trial Flemington looked great.

KALLOS 2nd up back on top of the ground will peak.

Those are the 2 i want to play.

Numbers: 4 – 1 – 3 – 6

#4 KALLOS & #1 OSCAR’S FORTUNE  @ BETFAIR

RACE 10
5:45pm

Distance: 1600m | Class: G1 | Exp Tempo: Abv Avg

The Toorak as the nightcap.

Doesn’t matter how i skin the race it’s hard to get away from ANOTHER WILL

Just maps perfectly to stalk the leader WISHLOR LASS

All depends on how hard Declan wants to push the buttons and whether Wishlor is battled hardened.

Might be a run short, but gee he ran a great race first up after a big lay off.

3 wide the trip and stuck on somewhat behind ANOTHER WILL.

Soft lead and if he can skip some cheap breaks and AW somehow lands in traffic i can play around with WISHLOR LASS winning.

ALSEPHINA needs be respected and is a MASSIVE danger.

Toss of the coin for me about ANTINO, Did he peak last start?

Numbers: 4 – 13 – 7 – 3

#4 ANOTHER WILL & #13 WISHLOR LASS @ BETFAIR
