BetMakers and Racing and Wagering Australia (RWWA) have been working together for a long time and have now announced that they have extended their partnership.

The Australian sports betting company will continue to provide RWWA with fixed odds and other horse racing betting products. With the extended agreement, BetMakers will supply RWWA with fixed odds for the Win and Place markets, as well as for exotic racing bet types.

The betting analytics and data provider will offer prices for all racing codes across the sales channels RWWA operates that include 320 retail agencies, as well as TABtouch.

BetMakers Increases Its Presences in Western Australia

Martin Tripp, BetMakers Chief Product and Customer Officer, expressed his delight at being able to announce the partnership between RWWA and his company.

He said that he expected they would start providing RWWA with fixed odds immediately and that they would take their partnership to the next level.

Tripp, who is one of the most influential betting personalities in Australia, added that with “RWWA covering approximately 54,000 races each year”, the extended deal represented a further increase in the presence BetMakers had in Western Australia.

RWWA is responsible for controlling and overseeing thoroughbred racing, as well as greyhound and harness racing events in Western Australia. It is also in charge of organizing off-course wagering under the TAB name.

RWWA Picked the Market Leader

The RWWA Head of Risk and Trading, Andrew Potts, was also delighted with the extension and said that because the RWWA was thinking of bringing fixed odds racing in-house, the controlling authority had to pick a reliable fixed-odds provider. So, they went with the market leader.

He went on to say that the partnership between the two entities would allow RWWA to have its very own fixed odds racing product for years to come. The smooth transition to getting to that final product was also a factor in the decision. Potts concluded his statement by saying that he was extremely excited to be working with the BetMakers team.
