UpYaGo Review | All Vibes and No Features, or Just Getting Started?

You’ve got to hand it to UpYaGo. The branding is fun. The name’s catchy. The app store description reads like your mate after five beers trying to convince you to download something. “If ya punt, ya know!” They’re going all-in on Aussie energy, big moments, and that feeling when the last leg of your multi comes home.

But is there substance behind the personality? We’re very early days with UpYaGo, and a more in-depth review is coming once the platform has had more time in the market. But we’ve had a look at the UpYaGo app and dug into what’s on offer. Here’s where things stand.

UpYaGo Sign Up

Standard Australian bookmaker sign up. Personal details, ID verification, deposit limit. Nothing out of the ordinary.

If you’re signing up, use the referral code KRUZEY during registration.

The process is straightforward. UpYaGo runs on the BetMakers platform, so if you’ve signed up with any other BetMakers-powered bookmaker (CrownBet, BetEstate, BoomBet, TopSport), the flow will feel familiar.

Racing Markets

UpYaGo covers thoroughbred, harness, and greyhound racing across Australian and international meetings. Being on the BetMakers platform means the standard bet types are there, including Win/Place, Exacta, Quinella, Trifecta, First Four, and Quaddies.

Same Race Multi is available, letting you combine selections within a single race. Racing insights are provided through RaceLab, which is the same tips and analysis tool available across other BetMakers bookmakers. You’ll get runner ratings, speed maps, and top selections to help inform your bets.

Live streaming for racing is also available through the app, which is a genuine positive for a brand new bookmaker.

For a fresh launch, the racing product is solid. The BetMakers platform delivers a reliable foundation, and having RaceLab and live streaming from the start puts UpYaGo ahead of where some other new operators have launched.

Sports Betting

UpYaGo covers the major sports. AFL, NRL, NBA, NFL, EPL, golf, UFC, and more. Same Game Multi is available across the major sporting codes, letting you bundle picks from a single match.

The sports coverage won’t rival the biggest operators in terms of depth, but the essentials are there. No cash out, no bet builder, no live betting, and no live streaming for sports. Those are gaps, but they’re common across smaller BetMakers-powered bookmakers.

The UpYaGo App

The UpYaGo app is available on both iOS and Android, but the data is extremely limited:

  • iOS: 1.0 out of 5 (2 ratings)
  • Android: Too new to rate

Two ratings on iOS is not enough to draw any real conclusions. That 1.0 score could shift dramatically with even a handful of new reviews. We wouldn’t read too much into it at this stage.

The app runs on BetMakers’ technology (same version number as other BetMakers apps), so the core platform should be stable and functional.

No biometric login and no Blackbook, consistent with most BetMakers-powered launches.

Customer Support

UpYaGo advertises “real true-blue Aussie support” with no offshore call centres. That’s a nice claim, but we couldn’t find specific contact details (phone, email, or live chat) listed prominently on the website.

As the platform grows, having clearly visible support channels will be important. For now, check within the app or account dashboard if you need help.

Who’s Behind UpYaGo?

UpYaGo is operated by Zinger Bookmaking Pty Ltd, a Queensland-based company founded in 2025 by Allan Hilzinger. If you know the name, it’s because Zinger Bookmaking also runs Next2Go and PuntX. UpYaGo is the third brand from the same stable.

They run on the BetMakers white-label platform and are licensed by the Northern Territory Racing and Wagering Commission. Having multiple brands under one operator isn’t unusual in the Australian market, but it’s worth knowing that UpYaGo, Next2Go, and PuntX share the same ownership and infrastructure.

Who Is UpYaGo Best For?

  • Racing punters who want a new BetMakers bookmaker with RaceLab tools and live streaming from day one
  • Casual punters who want a simple, no-fuss platform with a bit of personality
  • Punters who like trying new bookmakers to access fresh offers for existing account holders

Not ideal if you need cash out, live betting, or want a platform with a proven track record and established user reviews.

The Bottom Line

UpYaGo has more substance than the branding might suggest. The BetMakers platform gives it a solid racing product with RaceLab, live streaming, SRM, and SGM all available from launch. That’s a more complete feature set than some other recent launches we’ve reviewed.

The question mark is what separates UpYaGo from its sibling brands (Next2Go, PuntX) and from the other BetMakers bookmakers in the market. Right now, the main differentiator is the branding and personality. Whether that’s enough to build a loyal following remains to be seen.

If you want to give them a go, use the referral code KRUZEY when you sign up. We’ll update this review as the platform develops.

Ups & Downs

  • SRM, SGM, RaceLab, and live streaming all available from launch
  • Fun branding with genuine Aussie personality
  • Runs on proven BetMakers platform
  • No cash out or live betting
  • iOS rating of 1.0 from only 2 reviews (too early to judge)
  • Unclear what separates it from sibling brands Next2Go and PuntX

Our View

UpYaGo talks a big game, but it's the third bookie from the same team that runs Next2Go and PuntX. We're still not sure what makes this one different from its siblings. Fun name though
