Race 1 #2 DON CORLEONE
No prizes for finding the winner here but this colt should be winning with no problems. Multi filler.
Race 2 #1 KING OF SPADES
Can’t believe we are getting each-way claims about this gelding. Solid bet IMO.
Race 3 #7 HARD TO SAY
Should go right on with it here after a dominant win last time out. Jmac hopefully can do Jmac things.
Race 4 #4 BOLD MAC
A little bit of a tricky race here I feel so I’m leaning toward Bold Mac who holds a fitness and class edge in this field.
Race 5 #1 HARD EMPIRE
Taking a swing at Hard Empire here. Has a devasting turn of foot on his day, never really got a clean look at them last time out. At these odds, it’s a yes from me.
Race 6 #10 LAZZAGO
Bit of an awkward race to asses so we are leaning into some value in the form of Lazzago. If they go hard, he’s the one I want to be with.
Race 7 #6 NORTH STAR LASS
In Secret looks a bit short so I’m happy to be in the corner of North Star Lass, has never really seen a good going so I’m thinking this filly may run to a new peak. Will be on the speed and prove hard to catch.
Race 8 #1 ANAMOE
Just sit back and enjoy this bloody good horse. I think the $1.70 is a touch generous.
Race 9 #1 SWATS THAT
The trial looked really good. Shame to see Jmac didn’t stick but happy to be on this mare at around $6.
Race 10 #6 PIZZARO
Will do us just fine in the get-out. Unlucky in the run 2 starts back so that was a total forgive. A similar argument could be made last time out when he looked to be getting into his work late. Extra distance should suit.
