Every year, bookmakers spend millions telling you they’re the best. Slick ads, celebrity endorsements, bonus bet promises – you’ve seen it all.

But here’s the thing: nobody ever asks the people who actually use them.

That’s what this is. The KRUZEY Bookmaker of the Year isn’t decided by a panel, an algorithm, or a marketing budget. It’s decided by Australian punters – and the more people who vote, the harder these results are to argue with.

We’re running this survey all year. On Cup Eve 2026, we’ll reveal which bookmaker Australia actually rates – and which ones are coasting on advertising.

KRUZEY Bookmaker of the Year 2026 Promotion

1. Promoter

The KRUZEY Bookmaker of the Year 2026 Promotion (“Promotion”) is conducted by:

(“Promoter”, “KRUZEY”, “we”, “us”).

2. Promotion Period

The Promotion opens at:

12:00 AM (AEST) on 17 February 2026

and closes at:

11:59 PM (AEDT) on 2 November 2026

Entries submitted outside this period will not be accepted.

3. Eligibility

Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older.

Entrants must have personal experience using at least one licensed Australian bookmaker in order to provide a genuine review.

Participation in the Promotion does not require entrants to open a bookmaker account, place bets, or engage in gambling activity.

Employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, and any agencies involved in administering the Promotion are not eligible.

Immediate family includes spouse, parent, sibling, child or step-relations.

4. ACT Residents

Due to regulatory requirements in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT):

ACT residents may complete the survey and submit reviews but are not eligible to enter the prize draw.

Their survey responses may still contribute to the Bookmaker of the Year rankings and may be published on the KRUZEY website.

Residents of other Australian states and territories may participate in both the survey and prize draw.

5. How to Enter

To enter the Promotion:

  1. Visit kruzey.com.au/bookmaker-of-the-year-survey
  2. Complete the Bookmaker of the Year survey during the Promotion Period.
  3. Provide the requested information including:

• first name

• last name

• email address

• suburb

• survey responses and ratings

• optional written review

Upon completion of the survey the entrant receives:

one (1) entry into the prize draw.

Only one entry per person is permitted.

Entries are free and no purchase is required.

6. Review Incentive Disclosure

Entry into the prize draw is offered as an incentive for completing the survey.

The incentive applies regardless of whether the review is positive, negative or neutral.

Participation in the prize draw is not dependent on providing a favourable review.

7. Verification

The Promoter may request reasonable evidence confirming that an entrant has genuine personal experience with the bookmaker they reviewed.

Verification may include:

• redacted screenshots

• account confirmation emails

• other reasonable evidence of use

Verification requests are made only to confirm authenticity of the review.

Entrants must provide requested verification within 7 days if requested.

Failure to provide verification may result in the entry being deemed invalid.

8. Entry Conditions

Entries must:

• be submitted by the entrant personally

• reflect genuine personal experience

• not contain false or misleading statements

The Promoter may disqualify entries that are:

• automated

• fraudulent

• duplicated

• submitted in breach of these Terms.

9. Prize Pool

Total prize pool:

$5,000 AUD

Five prizes of:

$1,000 AUD each

10. Prize Draw

3 November 2026

Winners will be selected by random draw using a computer process.

11. Winner Notification

Winners will be notified by:

• email

• phone

within 7 days of the draw.

Entrants must ensure contact details are correct.

12. Publication of Winners

In accordance with trade promotion requirements:

The first initial, last name and postcode of winners will be published on:

kruzey.com.au/winners

within 30 days of the draw.

13. Unclaimed Prize Draw

If a prize remains unclaimed after three months, an unclaimed prize draw may occur.

14. Prize Payment

Prizes will be paid via electronic bank transfer to an Australian bank account nominated by the winner.

Payment will occur within 21 days of verification.

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable.

15. User Content

Entrants may submit written reviews (“User Content”).

By submitting content, entrants grant the Promoter a perpetual, royalty-free licence to publish, reproduce and distribute the content across:

• kruzey.com.au

• social media

• editorial content

• marketing materials

16. Moral Rights Consent

Entrants consent to reasonable editorial modifications including formatting, clarity or length.

17. Attribution

Published reviews may display:

• first name

• suburb

18. Content Standards

User Content must not include:

• defamatory statements

• personal attacks

• hate speech

• offensive or discriminatory content

• spam or advertising

• allegations of illegal conduct without evidence.

The Promoter may remove or edit content for legal compliance.

19. Platform Neutrality

Reviews represent the opinions and experiences of individual users.

The Promoter does not endorse or verify the views expressed in reviews.

Reviews are published to reflect a range of consumer experiences.

Businesses referenced in reviews may submit responses or clarifications which may be published.

20. Rankings and Methodology

The KRUZEY Bookmaker of the Year rankings are determined using survey responses, ratings and evaluation methods determined by the Promoter.

Rankings may include:

• aggregated survey scores

• weighted rating systems

• editorial assessment

Publication of rankings does not constitute endorsement of any bookmaker.

Methodology may change between editions.

21. Moderation and Review Integrity

The Promoter may remove or decline to publish reviews where there is reasonable belief the review is:

• fraudulent

• misleading

• defamatory

• not based on genuine experience.

Reviews may be edited for clarity or legal compliance.

22. Complaints

Businesses may submit complaints regarding reviews by contacting:

legal@kruzey.com.au

The Promoter may investigate and remove content where appropriate.

23. User Warranties

Entrants warrant that:

• their review reflects genuine experience

• they are not affiliated with the bookmaker reviewed

• the content does not infringe third-party rights.

Entrants indemnify the Promoter against claims arising from submitted content.

24. Privacy

Personal information is handled according to the KRUZEY Privacy Policy.

Information may be used for:

• administering the Promotion

• contacting winners

• publishing reviews

25. Liability

Nothing excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

The Promoter is not liable for:

• technical failures

• network interruptions

• incorrect contact details

• lost or delayed entries.

26. Changes to Promotion

The Promoter may modify or cancel the Promotion if circumstances outside its control occur.

Updates will be published on the KRUZEY website.

27. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
