Sportsbet has been listed as a Top 25 employer in Australia, according to LinkedIn. The bookie was ranked 21st on LinkedIn’s Top Companies 2023 - Pulse top companies 2023 25 best workplaces grow your list.
In March, Sportsbet was also endorsed as a Top 10 Employer for Women in Australia by Work180. The betting operator employs over 1,200 people in Australia.
Flutter Entertainment, Sportsbet’s owner, had an even better LinkedIn ranking in Ireland, where it placed second. Flutter employs over 20,000 people globally and has offices on all continents.

LinkedIn creates the Top Companies list by analyzing eight factors that determine employee career progression. These include:

Flutter’s Chief People Officer Phil Bishop said that Flutter was committed to creating a positive impact and helping employees become “the best version of themselves.” The CPO added that Flutter’s “vibrant and dynamic environment” was the result of Flutter employees doing the right thing and being ambitious. He also praised his colleagues for “having the power and ability to act.”
Bishop went on to say that the LinkedIn recognition was a testimony to the hard work everyone put in to “responsibly lead betting” into the future. He was happy that Flutter - was able to attract the best and brightest and that the Flutter community helped the company evolve its working practices, resulting in “a stronger environment and vision.”
