Eels vs Sharks Prediction
This is the game where I disagree with the bookies…

Manly need this one and the Dragons are the ideal opponent. The Sea Eagles are still alive for the eight, they are giving up 7.5 points at their own ground, and I think that number is too small rather than too big.

Manly are tenth with two rounds to play and they are not out of this yet. Win both and they finish level with the Cowboys on competition points, with a far healthier differential to break the tie.
So the motivation is not in question. How much they win by is, and that is where I think the bookies have been too polite to the visitors.
St George have scored fewer points than any side in the competition. They arrive at a suburban ground against a side with a reason to play, and there is no version of this where they control the tempo.
The risk is Manly being Manly. They have gone missing more than once this season, and if this turns into a scrappy arm wrestle the handicap gets awkward in a hurry.
But the Sea Eagles won in Newcastle last week and they were not flattered by it. A side with a season on the line at home against the bottom club should be winning this by double figures.
Sea Eagles by eleven at 4 Pines Park, because Manly still have a finals path to protect and the Dragons have nothing left to protect.
Manly have spent the year being worse than their squad and this is the week that stops mattering. If they play at the level they showed in Newcastle, the Dragons get nowhere near this.

| Our Tip | Sea Eagles Multi: Line + Under 48.5 @ $3.52 |
| Predicted Score | Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles 25 – St George Illawarra Dragons 14 |
The Sea Eagles. I have Manly winning by eleven at 4 Pines Park, and they are into $1.41 in the head to head market.
My best bet is the Sea Eagles multi at $3.52: the line and the under 48.5. That is the featured tip at the top of this page.
I do not think so. St George have the weakest attack in the competition and Manly do not need a shootout to win this, so the unders at $1.90 make sense.
The Sea Eagles play the Warriors at Go Media Stadium on Saturday 5 September in NRL Round 27.
The Dragons play the Eels at WIN Stadium on Sunday 6 September in NRL Round 27.
