Redcliffe Dolphins vs Canterbury Bulldogs
Three losses in a row for the Bulldogs, the most recent a 28-point shipping to the Cowboys. The Dolphins are coming the other way off a convincing win over the Storm. Defensively the gap is real – Dolphins under 20 conceded over the last five, Bulldogs leaking nearly 30. Model has the home side by 11 at Suncorp; the line sits at 6.5. That’s 4.5 points of cover sitting on a fatigued Canterbury in a Thursday night opener.

Sydney Roosters vs Gold Coast Titans
Five wins in a row for the Roosters, last out putting 38 on the Broncos. The Titans have lost three of four, including a 28-12 dusting from the Raiders, and their attack has dropped to 23 a game. Both defences are sub-22 conceded, but the Roosters are scoring 41 a week – a 41-versus-23 attack mismatch is the highest-rated game on the model. The H2H at $1.13 is the safer play, with Under 55.5 the value sidecar.

St George Illawarra Dragons vs Newcastle Knights
Newcastle just put 42 on Souths; the Dragons sit 0-5 with their last hiding a 16-62 capitulation to the Roosters. Knights are scoring 26 a game over the last five, Dragons just 12. Both defences are leaking 35, but only one side has the firepower to exploit the other end. Model has the visitors by 12 at WIN Stadium; the line is at 9.5. The form line and the points value sit on the same number.

Manly Sea Eagles vs Brisbane Broncos
Both sides come off losses – Manly to Penrith by 2, Brisbane to the Roosters by 14. The market has the Sea Eagles by 2.5 at home; the model has the Broncos by 3.
