The elimination finals are sudden death from the first whistle. Fifth hosts eighth and sixth hosts seventh, and there is no second chance for either side. Win and you move into a semi final, away from home, against a beaten qualifying finalist. Lose and the season is over that night. A side coming from fifth to eighth has to win three finals in a row to reach the Grand Final, which is why these games carry the most desperation in the series. We tip both.
