Brisbane Broncos vs Penrith Panthers Predictions

Friday, March 6, 2026

8:00pm AEDT @ Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane

Final Score Prediction

Brisbane Broncos
Broncos
23 : 22
Penrith Panthers
Panthers

A one-point predicted margin. That should tell you everything about how much certainty I have here.

This is essentially a coin flip dressed up as a prediction.

Broncos at home, Suncorp pumping, Friday night footy – that counts for something.

But so does Penrith’s pedigree. Even without a full-strength squad, the Panthers tend to find ways to stay in games. This one feels like it goes down to the wire either way.

Best Bets

I’ll be straight with you – a 53% confidence rating is barely above a guess. If I’m being honest, there’s almost no edge here and I wouldn’t blame anyone for sitting this one out entirely.

The Broncos at $1.72 at home is workable if you want to be on it. Suncorp is a genuine advantage, and Brisbane will be fired up for a home opener against the premiers.

But $1.72 for a team we’re only 53% confident in? The maths barely stacks up.

The -1.5 line at $1.82 is genuinely risky. We’re predicting a one-point win.

Backing a line that requires two or more is a stretch I’m not comfortable recommending with any conviction.

If you’re playing this, keep it very small. This is one of those games where watching might be the smartest bet.

What to Watch

  • Suncorp atmosphere: Brisbane at home under lights is a different beast. If the Broncos come out with energy, the crowd will carry them through the tight moments.
  • Panthers’ depth: Penrith have lost some key names but their system is still intact. Watch how their middle third holds up without the bigger names around them.
  • Late game: With a predicted one-point margin, don’t touch this game at half time. The finish is where it gets decided – and probably where any line bets live or die.
