NRL Footy Tips – Round 10

Canterbury Bulldogs VS Newcastle Knights

The Canterbury Bulldogs are playing the Newcastle Knights this Friday the 13th of May at Suncorp Stadium at 6:00 pm.

The Bulldogs lost to the Raiders last week 4-14, while the Knights lost to the Cowboys 16-36.

How this ended up as the first game of the Magic Round is beyond me, both teams are way down the ladder fighting for the bottom position.

Our money is on the doggies but this really is a game of guesswork.

Expert Prediction:

Bulldogs

Manly Sea Eagles VS Brisbane Broncos

The Manly Sea Eagles are playing the Brisbane Broncos this Friday the 13th of May at Suncorp Stadium at 8:05 pm.

At 7th and 8th on the ladder and five wins a piece the Sea Eagles are riding a win against the Tigers last week while the Broncos stormed home against the Rabbitohs.

Going off the Broncos win last week they have our tip for this weeks win.

Expert Prediction:

Broncos

New Zealand Warriors VS South Sydney Rabbitohs

The New Zealand Warriors are playing the South Sydney Rabbitohs this Saturday the 14th of May at Suncorp Stadium at 3:00 pm.

The Warriors lost against the Sharks last week 29-10, while the Rabbitohs also lost last week against the Broncos 12-32.

Last time these two teams went up against each other at Sunshine coast Stadium the Rabbitohs game the Warriors a walloping with a final score of 60-22.

In Magic Week… I can only foresee the same outcome.

Expert Prediction:

Rabbitohs

Gold Coast Titans VS St George Illawarra Dragons

The Gold Coast Titans are playing the St. George Illawarra Dragons this Saturday the 14th of May at Suncorp Stadium at 5:30 pm.

The Titans really havent had a good run into this game, the dragons on the other hand have been doing pretty decent in the past few weeks.

Aside from last weeks loss to the mighty Storm of course.

This is a difficult game to predict, however, the Titans have a decent chance of redeeming themselves.

Expert Prediction:

Titans

Melbourne Storm VS Penrith Panthers

The Melbourne Storm are playing the Penrith Panthers this Saturday the 14th of May at Suncorp Stadium at 7:45 pm.

Finally the game we have all been waiting for!

The Storm and the Panthers with neither of them playing at their home field.

Interesting that this could go either way as both teams are clearly a cut above the rest.

The Panthers are the odds favourite this week, but they won’t cut the mustard as the Storm will do everything in their power to push on home this week to mentally hurt the Panthers in the finals.

Expert Prediction:

Storm

Cronulla Sharks VS Canberra Raiders

The Cronulla Sharks are playing the Canberra Raiders this Sunday the 15th of May at Suncorp Stadium at 1:50 pm.

With the Sharks and the Raiders both winning last weeks games it will be interesting to see which team follows through with another win.

The Sharks have an obvious advantage here while Ladbrokes shows the Raiders have in fact won the previous eight games between these two teams.

Do the Sharks have what it takes to beat them this week and break the cycle?

Expert Prediction:

Raiders

Sydney Roosters VS Parramatta Eels

The Sydney Roosters are playing the Parramatta Eels this Sunday the 15th of May at Suncorp Stadium at 4:05 pm.

The Roosters and the Eels celebrated last week with wins on both sides, this week however, someone will be going home empty handed.

In their last 6 games against each other the winning team has won by at least 13 points so that is definitely something to take note of when eyeing up your same game multi.

Our money this week is on the Eels, though it won’t be a close score it will definitely be a great game to watch.

Expert Prediction:

Eels

Wests Tigers VS North Queensland Cowboys

The Wests Tigers are playing the North Queensland Cowboys this Sunday the 15th of May at Suncorp Stadium at 6:25 pm.

Though the Tigers are higher up on the ladder than the Cowboys at the moment, the Cowboys are headed into round 10 with four straight wins under their belt and are pushing back hard in an attempt to work their way back into the top eight.

the standout favourite this week they should have no worries in beating the Tigers this round.

Expert Prediction:

Cowboys

NRL Footy Tips – Round 9

South Sydney Rabbitohs VS Brisbane Broncos

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are playing the Brisbane Broncos this Thursday night at Accor Stadium at 7:50 pm.

The Brisbane Broncos are coming into this round winning their second game straight after defeating the Cronulla Sharks last week 16-7.

While the Bunnies got the job done against the Sea Eagles.

This should make for a really interesting game, A must win as both teams are on the same amount of wins for the season.

Expert Prediction:

Rabbitohs

Canberra Raiders VS Canterbury Bulldogs

The Canberra Raiders are playing the Canterbury Bulldogs this Friday at GIO Stadium at 6:00 pm.

The Bulldogs are coming off a nice win against the Roosters who are in the 8.

On that alone I think I have to side with the Doggies here.

Expert Prediction:

Bulldogs

Penrith Panthers VS Parramatta Eels

The Penrith Panthers are playing the Parramatta Eels this Friday at BlueBet Stadium at 7:55 pm.

The Penrith Panthers are stepping into the ring once again with an unblemished scoreboard so far this season, last week they beat the Gold Coast Titans 18-4.

Both the Panthers and the Eels are currently well and truly seated within the top eight coming into this week as the Panthers hold firm on top position with the Eels not too far below them, the Panthers have a solid eight wins coming into this round.

The Panthers are playing at home this week at BlueBet Stadium so we can pretty comfortably guess that the boys will win this game just to add to their never-ending list of wins this season, however, the Eels are one team that has the ability to win one over them at their home ground.

Expert Prediction:

Panthers

Manly Sea Eagles VS Wests Tigers

The Sea Eagles are playing the Tigers this Saturday at 4 Pines Park at 3:00 pm.

Another interesting little tussle.

Could be a real toss of the coin here but with the match being played at the Eagles home ground I think this is the logical bet.

Expert Prediction:

Sea Eagles

Sydney Roosters VS Gold Coast Titans

The Sydney Roosters are playing the Gold Coast Titans this Saturday at BB Print Stadium at 5:30 pm.

The Gold Coast Titans are headed into this week’s game with another loss notched up on the scoreboard, not surprisingly losing last week’s game to the Panthers 4-18 as the Boys from Penrith seem truly unstoppable at the moment.

We’re hoping this week’s matchup should be a pretty decent game to watch, the stats are there to say this should be a close one, however, I think the Roosters will be far too strong.

Expert Prediction:

Roosters

North Queensland Cowboys VS Newcastle Knights

The North Queensland Cowboys are playing the Newcastle Knights this Saturday at Queensland Country Bank Stadium at 7:35 pm.

No need to go into great detail here.

Should be an easy kill for the Cowboys. You can back with confidence.

Expert Prediction:

Cowboys

Melbourne Storm VS St. George Illawarra Dragons

The Melbourne Storm are playing the St. George Illawarra Dragons this Sunday at AAMI Park at 2:00 pm.

The Storm has this weeks win, playing at home against the Dragons it is very hard to see the outcome any other way.

Absolutely spanked the Knights last week.

Dragons have a tough task ahead of them, I just can’t see them getting chocolates.

Another easy bet.

Expert Prediction:

Storm

Cronulla Sharks VS New Zealand Warriors

The St. George Illawarra Dragons are playing the Wests Tigers this Sunday at WIN Stadium at 4:05 pm.

The Sharks are coming into this weeks game after a dreadful loss to the Brisbane Broncos with a final score of 16-7.

At five wins and the losses, the Cronulla Sharks are still sitting quite comfortably within arms reach of the top of the ladder.

Let’s just say the Warriors’ loss against the Storm a couple of weeks back has left a mark on our opinions, don’t get me wrong the Sharks are one of the best teams this season but after the Warriors loss against the Storm we can’t see them winning against a team as powerful as this weeks Sharks lineup.

 Expert Prediction:

Sharks

NRL Footy Tips – Round 8

Brisbane Broncos VS Cronulla Sharks

The Brisbane Broncos are playing the Cronulla Sharks this Thursday night at Suncorp Stadium at 7:50 pm.

The Brisbane Broncos are coming into this round winning their first game last week since way back in round 2, last week they took on the Canterbury Bulldogs and walked away 34-14.

The Cronulla Sharks are heading into this round with a much better start to the year than their opposition, last week they defeated the Sea Eagles 34-22.

The Broncos are currently sitting just outside of the top eight with three wins and four losses to their name whilst the Sharks on the other hand are sitting comfortably in the fourth position with five wins and two losses to their name.

The Sharks are indeed the favourite this week and another win this week should come as no surprise.

Expert Prediction: Sharks

Gold Coast Titans VS Penrith Panthers

The Gold Coast Titans are playing the Penrith Panthers this Friday at Cbus Super Stadium at 6:00 pm.

Unfortunately for the Titans, they will be stepping onto the field this week having lost their previous three matches, last week losing to the Cowboys 30-4.

The Panthers this week are stepping onto the sacred turf with an unblemished record so far this season having won seven of seven matches, last week they beat the Raiders 36-6.

So far this season the Titans have only won two games and are currently sitting outside the top eight at 12th on the ladder, Penrith on the other hand with their perfect season so far are proudly sitting all the way at the top of the ladder in pole position.

The Panthers are well and truly the favourites for this match and their odds give a good indication of how things should likely play out, though we have popped a nice little multi in for the Titans anyway to give you a nice little chunk of pocket money if they do happen to rise to the occasion.

Expert Prediction: Panthers

South Sydney Rabbitohs VS Manly Sea Eagles

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are playing the Manly Sea Eagles this Friday at Central Coast Stadium at 7:55 pm.

Both the Rabbitohs and the Sea Eagles are stepping onto the field this week hoping to regain some on-field respect after losing their matches last week, the Rabbitohs were defeated by the Wests Tigers 23-22 while the Sea Eagles lost against the Sharks 34-22.

Both the Rabbitohs and the Sea Eagles are currently sitting just inside the top eight coming into this week as the Rabbitohs sit in the eighth position with the Sea Eagles just above them in seventh, the Rabbitohs have three wins and four losses coming into this round while the Sea Eagles have four wins and three losses.

The Rabbitohs are the favourite coming into this round in what we can only assume should be much closer odds, this week though we believe the Sea Eagles should pip them at the post and walk away with one more win.

Expert Prediction: Sea Eagles

New Zealand Warriors VS Canberra Raiders

The New Zealand Warriors are playing the Canberra Raiders this Saturday at Moreton Daily Stadium at 3:00 pm.

Both the Warriors and the Raiders have had a less than great start to the season with the Warriors losing their last two games in a row whereas the Raiders have lost the past four consecutive games, last week the Warriors took a heavy loss against the Melbourne Storm in a whopping 70-10 defeat while the Raiders lost to the Panthers 36-6.

Coming into this week’s game, the Warriors and the Raiders are both out of the top eight and have no signs of getting there in the near future, the Warriors in 11th position are currently at three wins and four losses while the Raiders in 15th position have a mere two wins and five losses to their name.

While the Warriors are currently higher on the ladder, their disgraceful loss to the Melbourne Storm last week will be casting a huge shadow over them this week, in comparison, the Raiders had a much better round against the Panthers last week and that alone should give them the confidence they need this week to come through with the win.

Expert Prediction: Raiders

Canterbury Bulldogs VS Sydney Roosters

The Canterbury Bulldogs are playing the Sydney Roosters this Saturday at Accor Stadium at 5:30 pm.

Both the Bulldogs and the Raiders are coming into this week’s game with very opposite track records, the Bulldogs have lost their past six games while the Roosters lost last week after winning the three consecutive weeks prior, last week the Bulldogs lost against the Broncos 34-14 while the Roosters lost against the Dragons 14-12.

The Bulldogs are currently seated well into the bottom position of the ladder having only won one of seven games, whereas the Roosters are coming into this week’s match at sixth position with four wins and three losses.

This week’s game should be a no brainer but eventually, the Bulldogs will have to win another match, will it happen this week? not likely, but we have a pretty good Same Game Multi for them anyway… just in case.

Expert Prediction: Roosters

Parramatta Eels VS North Queensland Cowboys

The Parramatta Eels are playing the North Queensland Cowboys this Saturday at TIO Stadium at 7:05 pm.

Both the Eels and the Cowboys have had pretty good starts to the season and this week should be a fantastic battle to secure their positions, last week the Eels took on the Newcastle Knights only allowing them two points on the scoreboard with a final score of 39-2, in comparison the Cowboys took on the Titans also winning quite comfortably with a 30-4 final score.

Walking into this round the Eels are sitting at third on the ladder while the Cowboys are only slightly lower at the fifth position, the Eels currently have five wins and two losses to their name while the Cowboys have four wins and three losses.

I would like to say that the Eels will be walking away from this match with another win notched up but the Cowboys will be fighting hard to keep themselves in the position they are currently in, this week it could easily go either way but I think the Cowboys have the win.

Expert Prediction: Cowboys

Newcastle Knights VS Melbourne Storm

The Newcastle Knights are playing the Melbourne Storm this Sunday at McDonald Jones Stadium at 2:00 pm.

The Knights and the Storm are both coming into this round are opposite ends of the spectrum with the Knights having lost their last five consecutive games in a row while the Storm has won their past four games, last week the Knights were defeated by the Eels in an almost embarrassing 39-2 upset while the Melbourne Storm took home their sixth win against the Warriors 70-10.

Third from the bottom of the ladder, the Knights only have two wins to their name against five losses so far this season while the Storm is coming in with six wins to one loss.

It would come as a huge surprise this week if the Knights pull through with a win against the Storm and we can’t see it happening, but just in case we have popped in an excellent Same Game Multi with the most likely outcome for the Knights just in case they do pull through.

Expert Prediction: Storm

St. George Illawarra Dragons VS Wests Tigers

The St. George Illawarra Dragons are playing the Wests Tigers this Sunday at WIN Stadium at 4:05 pm.

The Dragons and the Tigers are headed into this round after an identical outcome over the past five games, having won their past two games and losing the three games prior. Last week the Dragons beat the Roosters 14-12, while the Tigers took on and defeated the Rabbitohs 23-22.

Both the Dragons and the Tigers are sitting in the bottom eight at the moment with the Dragons in the tenth position with three wins and four losses while the Tigers are down in the 13th position with only two wins to five losses.

The Likelihood of the Tigers winning this round looks pretty slim, however, if you look at the previous games leading into this round and the teams they have both been up against, the Tigers have played a better game. this week we’re tipping the Tigers will give a good show.

 Expert Prediction: Tigers

NRL Footy Tips – Round 7

Cronulla Sharks VS Manly Sea Eagles

The Cronulla Sharks are playing the Manly Sea Eagles this Thursday night at Pointsbet Stadium Arena at 7:50 pm.
The Sharks come into this round after losing their first game in five matches last week to Melbourne Storm 34-18.
The Sea Eagles are heading into this round after winning four consecutive matches, including last week’s game against the Titans 26-18.
Both the Sharks and the Sea Eagles are now sitting on four wins two losses. The Sharks are currently sitting third on the ladder as the Sea Eagles sit slightly lower at sixth position.
The Sharks are the clear favourites this week; however, I feel the Sea Eagles will scoop up this week’s win.

Expert Prediction: Sea Eagles

Brisbane Broncos VS Canterbury Bulldogs

The Brisbane Broncos are playing the Canterbury Bulldogs this Friday evening at Suncorp Stadium at 7:55 pm.

The Broncos come into this round after losing the past four matches, including last week’s game to the Panthers 40-12.
The Bulldogs are heading into this round after losing their past five consecutive matches, including last week’s loss to the Rabbitohs 36-16.
Both teams are currently on an incredible losing streak. It will only worsen for one of them after this week’s match; The Broncos are the favourites. Still, the Bulldogs will be coming in like hellfire to pop themselves off the bottom of the ladder this week.
Unfortunately, the Bulldogs might have to stay there a little bit longer.

Expert Prediction: Broncos

North Queensland Cowboys VS Gold Coast Titans

The North Queensland Cowboys are playing the Gold Coast Titans this Saturday evening at Queensland Country Bank Stadium at 5:30 pm.

The Cowboys come into this round after winning last week’s matchup against the Canberra Raiders 18-12.
The Titans are heading into this round after two straight losses, including last week’s loss to the Sea Eagles 26-18.
The Cowboys are doing slightly better on the field, having situated themselves in the seventh position on the ladder. In contrast, the Titans have found themselves sitting just outside the top eight at tenth on the ladder.
This should be a pretty even game, and the odds agree, though I think the Titans have a bit more to lose this round and will be fighting hard to gain the win this week.

Expert Prediction: Titans

Wests Tigers VS South Sydney Rabbitohs

The Wests Tigers are playing the South Sydney Rabbitohs this Saturday night at CommBank Stadium at 7:35 pm.

The Tigers come into this round, having won their first game of the season last week against the Parramatta Eels 21-20.
The Rabbitohs are heading into this round having won their past two games, including last week against the Bulldogs 36-16.
While the Tigers find themselves shifting from the bottom of the ladder this week due to a surprising win over the Eels. The Rabbitohs, on the other hand, have floated around the middle of the ladder throughout the season.
Last week, the Tigers’ win was a fortunate win for them, but I don’t think it will be enough mentally to get them over the line this week and notch two wins in a row.

Expert Prediction: Rabbitohs

Newcastle Knights VS Parramatta Eels

The Newcastle Knights are playing the Parramatta Eels this Sunday at McDonald Jones Stadium at 2:00 pm.

The Newcastle Knights haven’t had an excellent start to the season so far; having won their first two games, they began showing promise. However, every single game since that time has come at a loss to the team; last week, the Knights took on the Dragons losing 16-21.
The Parramatta Eels have so far this season shown a fair amount of promise as a contender for the finals; Last week, however, came with a shocking loss to the West’s Tigers, which has undoubtedly scorned the Eels’ track record.
Last week, the entire nation was left in utter disbelief as the 4th ranked team got tipped at the post by the team expected to take home the wooden spoon this year. Instead, the Tigers ended up winning last week 21-20.
The knights are coming into this matchup at 11th position on the ladder with two wins and four losses, whereas the Eels are coming into this one with four wins and two losses.
After last week’s game against the West’s Tigers, one would feel half weary of the Eels being able to beat anybody. However, the Eels will be coming into this game with their A-game making sure not to pop another loss onto their record this week.

Expert Prediction: Eels

Penrith Panthers VS Canberra Raiders

The Penrith Panthers are playing the Canberra Raiders this Sunday at BlueBet Stadium at 4:05 pm.

Last week, the Penrith Panthers showed up guns blazing to take home the bacon against the Broncos. Walking out of the stadium after the final siren, we can only assume the Panthers were quite pleased with their 40-12 win over Brisbane.
The Canberra Raiders failed to add another notch to the scoreboard last week when they went up against the Cowboys, losing with a final score of 12-18.
So far this season, the Panthers have won every single match they have played and have also won the last 20 games at BlueBet stadium. They are ranked number one on the ladder. They will always be a tough team to beat in their home stadium.
On the other hand, the Raiders have lost their last three games of the season, which have included the Cowboys, Storm, and the Sea Eagles, all good teams in their own right but all not up to the standards of the Panthers this year.
Given the Panthers’ track record so far this season and that they will be playing at their home stadium, it is pretty safe to say that the Penrith Panthers will be taking home another win this week.

Expert Prediction: Panthers

St. George Illawarra Dragons VS Sydney Roosters

The St George Illawarra Dragons are playing the Sydney Roosters this Monday at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) at 4:00 pm.

The Dragons come into this round, winning their first game last week following a four-week losing streak; last week’s match against the Knights saw them win by five with a final score of 21-16.
The Roosters are heading into this round following a winning trifecta, having won against the Warriors last week 22-14.
This week the game is being played at Sydney’s home ground the SCG. Each of Sydney’s last four games have all gone under the total match points line; additionally, Sydney has won each of their previous seven games against the Dragons.

Expert Prediction: Roosters

Melbourne Storm VS New Zealand Warriors

The Melbourne Storm are playing the New Zealand Warriors on Monday night at AAMI Park at 7:00 pm.

This week the Melbourne Storm are looking to turn their three-week win into a quaddie by beating New Zealand at Storms’ home stadium AAMI Park. Last week Melbourne Storm took on the Cronulla Sharks, winning quite comfortably 34-18.
After winning three games in a row, the New Zealand warriors streak was shattered last week when they took on the Sydney Roosters and lost 22-14.
These teams have shown some decent promise so far this season, with some surprising wins and near misses. However, the Storm is the storm, and they will be thundering in this week to take home another victory at their home ground. They have proven time and time again that they are tough to beat.

 Expert Prediction: Storm

NRL Footy Tips – Round 6

Canberra Raiders VS North Queensland Cowboys

The Canberra Raiders are playing the North Queensland Cowboys this Thursday night at GIO Stadium Arena at 7:50 pm.
Both the raiders and the Cowboys are coming into this game having lost their past two consecutive games.
Last week the Raiders lost against the Storm 16-30 while the Cowboys came up one point short against the Warriors 25-24.
The Cowboys are currently sitting at 8th on the ladder, with the Raiders currently at 13th; however, this is only due to points as they have both won the same amount of games.
This week, the Raiders are the favourite and should come through with the win to help shift their spot on the ladder.

Expert Prediction: Raiders

South Sydney Rabbitohs VS Canterbury Bulldogs

The South Sydney Rabbitohs are playing the Canterbury Bulldogs this Friday evening at Accor Stadium at 4:00 pm.
The Rabbitohs step into this week’s match, having won last week’s game against the Dragons 24-12.
The Bulldogs have had a little less luck this season, having lost their past four games, including a not surprising loss against the Panthers last week 32-12.
While the Rabbitohs are currently 9th on the ladder, they have only won two games compared to the Bulldogs, with one win presently sitting at 15th. However, both teams have held themselves against some of the better teams this year, and it wouldn’t surprise us if the Bulldogs get up this round.
The Rabbitohs are the standout favourite this game; however, the Bulldogs will be coming in hard to shift themselves a little further away from the bottom of the ladder.

Expert Prediction: Rabbitohs

Penrith Panthers VS Brisbane Broncos

The Penrith Panthers are playing the Brisbane Broncos this Friday night at BlueBet Stadium at 7:55 pm.
The Panthers are coming in hot heading into this week’s match, having won all five of their previous matches, defeating the Bulldogs last week 32-12.
The Bulldogs have lost the last three games of the season and will be looking to make a jump on the ladder this week after last week’s loss to the Roosters 24-20.
The Panthers are sitting in pole position on the ladder with one more win than the Sharks, Storm, and Eels, who are all currently fighting for second. Whereas the Broncos are currently sitting at 12th, and even a win won’t cause a significant shift in their rankings.
Obviously, the Panthers are the favourites for this week’s match, while the Broncos have shown some good form against some decent teams so far this season.
Penrith is playing at their home stadium this week, which will help solidify this week’s win.

Expert Prediction: Panthers

Manly Sea Eagles VS Gold Coast Titans

The Manly Sea Eagles are playing the Gold Coast Titans this Saturday night at 4 Pines Park at 5:30 pm.
The Sea Eagles are looking to make it four in a row after defeating the knights last week 30-6.
Up to this point in time, the Titans have a loss-win-loss on their hands, so in theory, they should win this round purely based on their track record of winning after losing the previous week! However, last week the Titans lost to the Eels 20-26.
Manly is sitting higher up on the ladder and coming into this week’s game in the sixth position, while the Titans are in the bottom eight, sitting at tenth on the ladder.
Both teams have had some surprising games this year, being defeated by some unexpected opponents; however, the Sea Eagles have the home field advantage this week.

Expert Prediction: Sea Eagles

Melbourne Storm VS Cronulla Sharks

In what is set to be the game of the week, the Melbourne Storm are playing the Cronulla Sharks this Saturday night at AAMI Park at 7:35 pm.
This week, the Storm are seeking triplets to bump them into the second spot on the ladder, which is currently taken up by the Sharks. Last week, the Storm beat the Raiders 30-16.
The Sharks are on a four-game winning streak, having beaten the Wests Tigers last week in a not so nail-biting 30-4 victory.
One of the main things to consider this week is the home-field advantage, and this week the Storm has it; while both teams are currently fighting for the second spot, the Storm has a lot more to lose if they can’t grab the victory in their home state.

Expert Prediction: Storm

Sydney Roosters VS New Zealand Warriors

The Sydney Roosters are playing the New Zealand Warriors this Sunday at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) at 2:00 pm.
The Roosters are coming into this week having won their past two games, defeating the Broncos last week 24-20.
The Warriors this week are coming in with three straight wins under their belt, having only just defeated the Cowboys last week in an incredibly close 25-24 point victory.
Sydney has quite a few things going for them in their favour this week, having won 12 of their past 13 day matches, playing at their home field, and having a slightly better defence in terms of statistics.

Expert Prediction: Roosters

St. George Illawarra Dragons VS Newcastle Knights

The St George Illawarra Dragons are playing the Newcastle Knights this Sunday at WIN Stadium at 4:05 pm.
After losing all four of their previous matches, the Dragons are coming into this match after suffering last week’s loss against the Rabbitohs 24-12.
The Knights are also coming into this week on a less than respectable track record this season with three losses in a row; last week, the Knights were defeated by the Sea Eagles 30-6.
The Dragons will be playing at the home field this week which will boost their chances of winning; however, this game could easily go either way. It is worth noting that the Dragons have lost 12 of their last 13 matches.

Expert Prediction: Knights

Parramatta Eels VS Wests Tigers

The Parramatta Eels are playing the Wests Tigers on Monday at CommBank Stadium at 4:00 pm.
The Eels have won 4 of their past five games this season, having won their past three in a row. Last week the Eels defeated the Titans 26-20.
The Wests Tigers have thus far lost all five of their games so far this season and are currently seated well and truly at the bottom of the ladder, having lost last week’s matchup against the Sharks 30-4.
This week’s game will be played at the Eels’ home ground, and with one of the best defences in the leagues this season, it would be an incredibly tall task to expect the Tigers to come out on top on Monday evening, stranger things have happened, but we don’t see it this round.

 Expert Prediction: Eels

NRL Footy Tips Round – 5

Newcastle Knights VS Manly Sea Eagles

This week the Newcastle Knights will be playing the Manly Sea Eagles on Thursday night at McDonald Jones Stadium at 7:50 pm.
The Knights come into this round having lost their last two games; last week, they lost 18-0 against the Cronulla Sharks.
On the other hand, the Sea Eagles are coming into this game with two wins on the board for the previous two games; last week, the Sea Eagles took on the Raiders winning 25-6.
Four of the last five night matches between the Knights and the Sea Eagles have been decided by less than six points, so it is pretty safe to assume this will be a tight match.
The stats for this game are a telltale sign that the Knights should win this game, averaging 2.5 more points per game, 1.5 points less scored against them and an average winning margin of 8 points more.
It is worth mentioning that the Knight’s past two games have been against the Panthers and the Sharks, both of whom are solidly in the top 4.
This week our money is on the Knights, though it wouldn’t surprise us if the Sea Eagles get up this week and claim victory.

Expert Prediction: Knights

New Zealand Warriors VS North Queensland Cowboys

This week the New Zealand Warriors are playing the North Queensland Cowboys on Friday night at Moreton Daily Stadium at 6:00 pm.
The Warriors come into this round having won their last two games; last week, the Warriors won 20-6 against the Brisbane Broncos.
On the other hand, the North Queensland Cowboys are coming into this game having lost last week against the Sydney Roosters 4-28.
North Queensland doesn’t play well at night, having lost 11 of their past 12 night matches, while 11 of the past 12 Friday night matches the Warriors have played have all been decided by less than 6 points.
This year the Cowboys are averaging slightly more points per match, not letting the other team score as much and have a significantly higher winning margin.
Neither team is yet to go up against any of the top three teams, so it is yet to be decided where they will end up after the next couple of weeks.
This week though, the Cowboys should take home the win.

Expert Prediction: Warriors

Brisbane Broncos VS South Sydney Roosters

This week the Brisbane Broncos are playing the Sydney Roosters on Friday night at Suncorp Stadium at 7:55 pm.
The Broncos come into this round having lost their last two games, losing last week’s game against the Warriors 20-6.
The Roosters will be coming into this game after winning their last game against the Cowboys 28-4.
The Roosters have won their last 11 interstate matches as the favourite but have failed to cover the line in nine of their last ten games at Suncorp Stadium.
Adding to this is Brisbane Broncos’ failure to cover the line in their past five matches, which has resulted in each of the games ending up UNDER the total match points line.
James Tedesco has scored a try in four of his last five matches against Brisbane; Angus Crichton has also scored at least one try in his previous four appearances against them.
Daniel Tupou has scored a try in each of the last three games Sydney has played, with Herbie Farnworth scoring at least one try in three of Brisbane’s previous five matches.
This week, the Roosters have the favour as they come into this round with higher average points per match, fewer points scored against them, and an eight-point higher winning margin.

Expert Prediction: Roosters

Canberra Raiders VS Melbourne Storm

This week the Canberra Raiders are playing the Melbourne Storm on Saturday at McDonalds Park at 3:00 pm.
The Raiders come into this round with a loss-win-loss, losing last week’s game against the Sea Eagles 25-6.
The Storm will be coming into this game on a win-loss-win after winning last week’s match against the Bulldogs 44-0.
Fourteen of the last 15 matches between the Raiders and Melbourne have gone UNDER the total match points line, with Melbourne winning the past four games against the Raiders.
However, as the underdog, the Raiders have covered the line in six of their past eight matches.
The Storm has a significantly higher chance of winning this week’s game with a better defence, better offence, and a better game all around; however, the Raiders have shown a good inning this season and may have what it takes this week to top the Storm.
Our money this week is on the Storm, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the Raiders take the lead.

Expert Prediction: Storm

South Sydney Rabbitohs VS St. George Illawarra Dragons

This week the South Sydney Rabbitohs are playing the St. George Illawarra Dragons on Saturday afternoon at Accor Stadium at 5:30 pm.
The Rabbitohs come into this round with a loss-win-loss, losing last week’s game against the Penrith Panthers 26-12.
The Dragons will be coming into this game on a three-loss streak after losing last week’s match against the Parramatta Eels 48-14.
Interestingly, the Rabbitohs have won 22 of their past 23 matches as the favourite (only losing to Penrith last week) and will be stepping into the stadium as favourites against the dragons this week.
However, all of the past six teams that have played the Panthers have failed to cover the line in their next match.
Additionally, five of the past six matches between the South Sydney Rabbitohs and the St. George Illawarra Dragons have all gone under the total match points line, so it is safe to assume that this one will be close.
On paper, the Rabbitohs stand out in this match with a superior defence and a better offence.
Our money this week is on the Rabbitohs, but don’t expect a blitzing; this should be a close game.

Expert Prediction: Rabbitohs

Gold Coast Titans VS Parramatta Eels

This week the Gold Coast Titans are playing the Parramatta Eels on Saturday night at Cbus Super Stadium at 7:35 pm.
The Titans come into this round with a win-loss-win, winning last week’s game against the Wests Tigers in a very close 8-6.
The Eels will be coming into this game loss-win-win after beating the Dragons last week 48-14.
The Parramatta Eels have won all of their last six matches against the Titans, with five of those matches ending with a margin of more than 13 points.
The titans have held a close game at Cbus as of late, with seven of their past eight games going UNDER the anticipated total match points line.
Looking at the stats from the past two years, the Titans and the Eels have incredibly close numbers, which leads us to believe that this game could swing in either direction; however, looking at the stats from this year alone shows the Eels to be playing a better game so far this season.
Our money is on the Eels this week, but the Titans have been playing a good game and could quite easily scoop up the win.

Expert Prediction: Eels

Cronulla Sharks VS Wests Tigers

This week the Cronulla Sharks are playing the Wests Tigers on Sunday afternoon at Pointsbet Stadium at 4:05 pm.
The Sharks come into this round with the winning triplets, who have won all three of their past games, last week thrashing the Knights 18-0.
The Tigers will be coming into this game at an opposite end of the spectrum, having lost all four of their past games this season and last week to the Titans 8-6.
This week should be a pretty simple one, the Wests Tigers haven’t been playing up to scratch as of late, and the Sharks are right up there with the head of the pack this season, eyeing up their spot for the title.
Our money is on the Sharks, no question about it, but we have thrown a multi in for the tigers anyway because if they do get up, the profits will be huge!

Expert Prediction: Sharks

Canterbury Bulldogs VS Penrith Panthers

This week the Canterbury Bulldogs are playing the Penrith Panthers on Sunday night at CommBank Stadium at 6:15 pm.
The Bulldogs come into this round losing all three of their past games, last week getting hammered by the Storm 44-0.
The Panthers, however, will be coming into this game at a winning all four of their games so far this season, defeating the Rabbitohs last week 26-12.
The Bulldogs have lost all of their past nine matches at CommBank stadium, and heading into the bank against the Panthers indicates that this will be leading to number ten.
In all of the past three games between the Bulldogs and the Panthers, the Panthers have won both halves of the game.
This week, the Panthers have the win, and I would be surprised if it isn’t a complete washout.

 Expert Prediction: Panthers

NRL Footy Tips Round – 4

Gold Coast Titans vs Wests Tigers

This Thursday, the Gold Coast Titans will be taking on the Wests Tigers at Cbus Super Stadium.
The Wests Tigers are in a slight opposing streak coming into this week, having lost their last six matches.
On the other hand, the Titans are coming into this week having only lost their last match and winning their game the previous week.
The Titans have covered the line in seven of their last eight night matches against the Tigers, and I don’t think they will have any issues again this week.
Interestingly though, eight of the Tigers’ last nine matches the Tigers have played have all gone under the total match points line. Adding to that, the Tigers have lost both halves in five of their last six matches.
The Titans have an average of 4.4 more points per match, while the Tigers stand to have an average of 4.7 points more scored against them per match.
Tying into this, the average losing margin for the Wests Tigers is around 2.7 points more than the Titans, and the average winning margin for the titans is 9.5 points higher.
Our money is on the Titans to win this game, and they should do it by around 4-5 points.

Expert Prediction: Titans

Cronulla Sharks vs Newcastle Knights

This Friday, the Cronulla Sharks will be tackling the Newcastle Knights at Pointsbet Stadium.
The Sharks come into this game winning their last two games this season, only losing in round 1, while the Knights won their first two games, having lost their first game of the season last week.
The odds favourite has won the last ten games between the Sharks and the Knights, with Newcastle’s last four night matches going under the total match points line. With the Sharks covering the line in four of their previous five games at Pointsbet Stadium.
The Sharks are averaging almost 4 points higher per match than the Knights, while the points against both teams remain similarly equal. In addition, the average winning margin for the Sharks is once again a little over 4 points higher than the Knights, while the Knights losing margin is roughly 6 points more than the Sharks.
Taking all of this into account, our money is on the Sharks to bring home the bacon, and once again, they should do it by around 4-5 points.

Expert Prediction: Sharks

Penrith Panthers vs South Sydney Rabbitohs

The Penrith Panthers will be taking on the South Sydney Rabbitohs this Friday at Bluebet Stadium.
Penrith will be charging into this week’s game, winning their last five games, with the Southies winning their previous match and losing the three games prior.
Penrith is on an incredible 18 game winning streak at Bluebet Stadium and will do everything in their power this Friday to continue that streak.
The past four matches between the Panthers and Rabbitohs at Bluebet Stadium have been won by less than 6 points.
The Rabbitohs, however, are averaging a little under 2 points more than the Panthers per match. In comparison, the points against the Rabbitohs are significantly higher at 6.2 points, meaning the Rabbitohs lack in the defence matched up against the Panthers. The average winning margin for both teams is relatively similar, while the Rabbitohs stand to lose at roughly 4 points more per game.
It should be an excellent game this week with all of this taken into account. However, the Panthers should swoop in and take the lead to keep them on top of the ladder; however, they should do so only by a few points.

Expert Prediction: Panthers

New Zealand Warriors vs Brisbane Broncos

Heading into this week’s game, the Warriors won their first games last week in the past five games, the Broncos lost last week whilst winning the previous three games.
Interestingly, the underdog has won five of the last six matches between the Warriors and the Broncos. The underdog has covered the line in just as many matches.
The average points per game for both the Warriors and the Broncos are incredibly similar, with the points against per match being slightly higher for the Broncos at a mere 2.4.
the average winning margin for the broncos, however, is 5.9 points higher than the Warriors; however, their losing margin is also very similar at 7.5
Although the Broncos are the favourite for this week’s game, the stats do show otherwise; adding to this is the underdog stigma on this match, and I can comfortably say I think the Warriors may get up in this one.

Expert Prediction: Warriors

Manly Sea Eagles vs Canberra Raiders

This Saturday, the Manly Sea Eagles are up against the Canberra Raiders at Glen Willow Oval.
Winning their game last week, the Sea Eagles have failed to win the first two games of this season, whereby the Canberra Raiders won both the first and third round, only failing to lose the second.
Of Manly’s last 14 games, the favourite has won 13 times; this week, Manly is the odds on favourite to win.
Another point worth noting is that the past four matchups between the Sea Eagles and the Raiders have all gone under the total match points line.
The average points per match for the Sea Eagles is almost ten points higher than the Raiders, with the average winning margin being significantly higher at 14.7 points higher.
While the points all lead to the Sea Eagles winning this round, I suspect that the Raiders might get up on them to remain in a good position coming out of this week.

Expert Prediction: Raiders

North Queensland Cowboys vs Sydney Roosters

This Saturday, the North Queensland Cowboys are up against the Sydney Roosters at Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
The Cowboys seem to be on somewhat of a mini winning streak coming into this week’s game, winning their last two games, while the Roosters go into this week coming off a loss.
That may be about to end though, as the last three matchups between the Cowboys and the Roosters have seen the cowboys walk away, losing by more than 13 points each time.
Adding to that is the Cowboy’s failure to cover the line in five of their last six night matches; it goes without saying that they appear to have the same issues at Queensland Country bank stadium too, as the stats there are the same.
Additionally, and this is important for the Same Game Multi, the Roosters have won both halves of the past three games against the Cowboys.
This one is easy for us. Roosters will start climbing the ladder again this week, knocking the cowboys a little further down the ladder.

Expert Prediction: Roosters

Melbourne Storm vs Canterbury Bulldogs

This Sunday afternoon, the Melbourne Storm are up against the Canterbury Bulldogs at AAMI Park.
Coming off a surprising loss to the Eels last week, the Storm will be determined to get themselves closer to the top this week. The Bulldogs have lost their past two games this season, heading into this week very much the underdog.
The Storm has won the past six games against the Bulldogs and will be pushing for a seventh come Sunday afternoon.
However, they have been close matches, with five of the last six games ending with a margin of six points or less.
All signs lead to Melbourne in the stats being significantly higher on all accounts, and this week, I believe they will push themselves harder than they have the past two weeks beating the Bulldogs by a decent chunk.

Expert Prediction: Storm

Parramatta Eels vs St. George Illawarra Dragons

The Parramatta Eels are up against the St. George Illawarra Dragons this Sunday night at CommBank Stadium.
The Eels step into this week on a high after winning against the Storm last week, while the Dragons will be more determined to prove themselves after losing to the Sharks last week 12-36.
The Eels are the Odd’s favourite this week as the Dragons face their demons losing all nine of their last games as the underdog.
This game should, in theory be pretty straightforward; however, the Dragons are known to surprise everyone.
Our money will remain on the Eels this week as they fight for the top three positions.

 Expert Prediction: Eels

NRL Footy Tips Round – 3

St. George Illawarra Dragons vs Cronulla Sharks

The St. George Illawarra Dragons take on the Cronulla Sharks in Round 3 at WIN Stadium in the Southern Shire derby.

This rivalry will be extra heated with both teams now at 1-1 in Round 3, and it will have extra meaning since the Sharks’ new coach, Craig Fitzgibbon, will face one of his previous sides for the first time.

The Sharks have already played in two nail-biters this season, and they’ll be looking to build on their thrilling come-from-behind victory over the Eels last week. Last weekend, the Dragons battled back from a 21-point deficit to defeat the premiers.

Expert Prediction: Cronulla Sharks

Wests Tigers vs New Zealand Warriors

The NRL returns to Campbelltown Stadium for the first time since Round 9 last year, as the West Tigers welcome the New Zealand Warriors on Friday night.

Both teams are winless heading into this bout, raising the stakes considerably since the loser may be left behind in 2022.

On Sunday afternoon, the Tigers could not back up a good first-round performance against the Storm, as Newcastle completely dominated them from start to end.

Meanwhile, the Warriors put up a fight but, as it did in Round 1, their attack progressively fell off in the second half.

Expert Prediction: Wests Tigers

South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Sydney Roosters

The oldest rivalry in rugby league is back on Friday night when the winless South Sydney Rabbitohs host the Sydney Roosters, who are yet to notch a victory.

Joey Manu and Latrell Mitchell will meet for the first time since last season’s 54-12 annihilation, which will be remembered more for Latrell Mitchell’s punch on Joey Manu. The initial suspension meant that Mitchell would have returned after this game, but he was granted an exemption from the NRL, allowing him to return to action last weekend.

The Bunnies will be confident of making it four in a row against their archrivals after some Mitchell heroics almost snatched an incredible comeback victory over the Storm.

The Roosters were a different team in Round 2, outscoring Manly to get their first victory of the year. Butcher will start ahead of Crichton again this week, while Watson has been named at hooker once more. Cameron Murray will play lock after coming on as an injury replacement last week.

Expert Prediction: South Sydney Rabbitohs

Penrith Panthers vs Newcastle Knights

The backdrop for Saturday’s top-of-the-table matchup between the Penrith Panthers and Newcastle Knights is Carrington Park in Bathurst.

Despite having no points in the second half against St George Illawarra last week, the Panthers were able to keep their perfect start going for 2022 by doing enough in the final 30 minutes. Nathan Cleary could return as soon as this week.

Brian To’o, a fellow Blue, will be unavailable for Saturday’s game against the Roosters after injuring his knee in last week’s victory over the Dragons and will be replaced by Taylan May for just the second time in his young career.

The Knights dominated the Tigers, going 2-0 in the process and topping the NRL table after two of their stars were injured.

With the spine unchanged, Daniel Saifiti and Kalyn Ponga resume their fullback and prop roles, respectively. Barnett shifts to second row to replace Lachlan Fitzgibbon, who is out due to injury.

Expert Prediction: Penrith Panthers

Melbourne Storm vs Parramatta Eels

With the Storm moving their home games further North for the past two seasons due to covid rules, this will be the first time these sides have met at AAMI Park since their 2019 Semi-finals, when the Eels were crushed by 32 points scoring no points themselves.

Last week, the Eels suffered a heartbreaking late try by Teig Wilton in their 18-16 defeat against the Sharks.

In their Round 2 encounter, the Storm were put to the test by the Rabbitohs, but emerged victorious thanks to Ryan Papenhuyzen’s match-winning field goal.

The Eels with Wiremu Greig will be coming onto the bench this week in place of Jake Arthur.

Expert Prediction: Melbourne Storm

Canberra Raiders vs Gold Coast Titans

The Canberra Raiders have lost one of their most experienced players after Josh Hodgson was ruled out for the season with a ruptured ACL. The club has also been dealt a shattering blow to its playmaking and leadership capabilities since it was announced that Hodgson will miss the rest of the year due to a confirmed season-ending injury.

It’s come at a difficult time for the Raiders, who have a tough month of football ahead and want to bounce back after losing 26-6 to the Cowboys.

The Gold Coast Titans may have felt hard done by with their defeat by Parramatta in Round 1, but they didn’t have to wait long to get a victory on the board, overcoming the Warriors in a nail-biting 20-18 win last Saturday afternoon.

Expert Prediction: Gold Coast Titans

Brisbane Broncos vs North Queensland Cowboys

With the Broncos coming off a 6 point victory against the Bulldogs last week, the Cowboys also jumped through some hoops to pull of a 20 point lead against the Raiders.

The Cowboys have lost 8 of their nine last away matches, whereas the broncos have covered the line in eight of their last nine matches.

The Brisbane Broncos are clearly in front in the odds department this week and the stats all point in the right direction for them too.

Expert Prediction: Brisbane Broncos

Manly Sea Eagles vs Canterbury Bulldogs

The Manly Sea Eagles the Sydney Roosters last week only to be defeated 26-12, whereas the Bulldogs last week took on the Brisbane Broncos also suffering a defeat with a final score of 10-16.

All of Canterbury’s previous last eight matches have all gone under the total match points line, while Manly have failed to cover the line in 6 of the last seven matches they have played at 4 Pines Park at night, which should be taken into account for this game.

Additionally, in the past 6 match ups between the Sea Eagles and the Bulldogs, the sea Eagles have won every single game.

 Expert Prediction: Manly Sea Eagles

NRL Footy Tips Round – 2

Melbourne Storm vs South Sydney Rabbitohs

On Saturday, the Melbourne Storm kept their extraordinary season-opening success going with a courageous comeback victory over the Tigers at AAMI Park. They’ll return to AAMI Park for the first time since Round 8 of last season when they face the South Sydney Rabbitohs on Thursday night.

After overcoming a rough start, the Storm won their 20th consecutive Round 1 game. On the other side, South Sydney could not overcome Brisbane in its season opener, losing 11-4 at Suncorp Stadium. However, they will get Latrell Mitchell back this week, with Alex Johnston reverting to his regular spot on the wing. It is worth noting that the Rabbitohs have never beaten Storm in Melbourne. Storm trio Christian Welch, Brandon Smith, and George Jennings will all miss this week’s game due to injuries. On the flipside, Origin pair Cameron Munster and Harry Grant have returned from their respective suspensions. Dean Leremia takes the vacant wing spot while Jesse Bromwich is back at prop.

Expert Prediction: Melbourne Storm

St. George Illawarra Dragons vs Penrith Panthers

The Dragons and the Panthers won their games last week, kicking off a fantastic start to the 2022 season, and they will be looking to keep on track this week to remain undefeated at Jubilee Stadium Friday night. Even though they were without Nathan Cleary, last week’s season opener saw Penrith dominate Manly from start to finish, winning 28-6.

Meanwhile, the Dragons absolutely smashed the second half, scoring three tries to win 28-16 against the Warriors thanks to a hat-trick from Mikaele Ravalawa. Aaron Woods will miss the game with a hamstring problem, meaning Francis Molo comes in as a replacement for the Red V. Mathew Eisenhuth will be joining the interchange as Spencer Leniu will be promoted to starting prop as Moses Leota is out for the Panthers.

Expert Prediction: Penrith Panthers

Sydney Roosters vs Manly Sea Eagles

The Sydney Roosters are set to host to the Manly Sea Eagles at the SCG, two teams coming off disappointing losses will aim to reverse their dismal Round 1 records.
The Sea Eagles entered the opening round as clear favourites against the Panthers, following confirmation that Nathan Cleary would miss the season opener. Unfortunately, the Eagles were outshone from the start, with their only bright spot a stunning team effort just before the end of the first.
It was a similar story for the Roosters, who were absolutely rocked by the Newcastle Knights leading the game from the first to the final whistle.
The result of this sad story is that these two teams have unfortunately found themselves in the bottom two positions of the ladder.

Expert Prediction: Sydney Roosters

Gold Coast Titans vs New Zealand Warriors

The Titans will be taking on the New Zealand Warriors this week after both teams suffered losses against the Eels and Dragons. The Titans lost last week to the Eels in a close 32-28 game, while the Warriors took on the dragons in round 1 only to lose 16-28.
The Titans have won their last 12 games at Cbus Super Stadium, while the Warriors have failed to cover the line in 16 of the previous 19 matches.
The numbers for this game offer a pretty decent idea of what theoretically should happen this week; while the Titans have an average winning margin of 24.6, the Warriors fall far short of that, only having an average winning margin of 6.

Expert Prediction: Gold Coast Titans

Cronulla Sharks vs Parramatta Eels

This week the Cronulla Sharks will be taking on the Parramatta Eels after the sharks lost their opening game last week whilst the Eels won their first game of the season. The Sharks lost last week to the Raiders in what was a close 24-19 game, while the Eels came out on top last week winning against the Titans 32-28.
The Sharks have won their previous five night games at Pointsbet Stadium, and the last 4 night matches between the Sharks and the Eels have gone over the total match points line.
The stats on these two teams point towards a close game; however, the Eels should end up slightly in front at the final whistle.
The Eels have an average winning margin of 19.1, whereas the Sharks fall slightly short with an average winning margin of 15.

Expert Prediction: Eels

North Quuensland Cowboys vs Canberra Raiders

This week the North Queensland Cowboys will be facing up against the Canberra Raiders at Queensland Country Bank Stadium after the Cowboys suffered a loss against the Bulldogs of 4-6; Raiders, on the other hand, are coming off a win against the Sharks last week scoring 24-19.
The Cowboys have lost 12 of their last 13 matches and have failed to cover the line in nine of their previous ten night matches.
The stats on these two teams signal that this should be a pretty tight game; however, with the Raiders having an average 3.7 higher winning margin per game and losing by an average of 3.9 points less, the odds tip in the Raiders favour this round.

Expert Prediction: Canberra Raiders

Newcastle Knights vs Wests Tigers

The Newcastle Knights will be charging full steam against the Wests Tigers at Newcastle International Sports Stadium this week. Last week left the sporting world in complete surprise after the Knights comfortably took home victory against the Roosters 20-6; the Wests Tigers on the other hand, took on the reigning premiers and held up against them pretty well in a surprising 16-26 loss.
It is worth noting that the Tigers have lost their last four matches, whereas the Knights have won 3 of their previous five.
I want to say that the knights have this one for an easy win, but after seeing the Tigers game last week, it is fair to say they certainly have their work cut out for them.

Expert Prediction: Newcastle Knights

Canterbury Bulldogs vs Brisbane Broncos

This week the Canterbury Bulldogs go toe to toe with the Brisbane Broncos at Accor Stadium after the Broncos steamed through for a win against the Roosters with an 11-4 lead; the Bulldogs snuck in a win against the Cowboys last week with a much needed extra two points scoring 6-4.
However, there appears to be a voodoo curse on the Broncos when playing against the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs have won the last ten games against the Broncos; throw into this that the Broncos have lost both halves of their last five games at Accor Stadium, and it’s a fair assessment to assume that they need to break their curse.
The Broncos are the favourite on the books, but our prediction this week is that the Bulldogs will win this one.

 Expert Prediction: Canterbury Bulldogs

NRL Footy Tips Round – 1

Penrith Panthers vs Manly Sea Eagles Expert Tip

Hammering into the 2022 season, the Panthers and Sea Eagles will be playing at BlueBet Stadium on Wednesday night. Finishing last season at 2nd and 4th on the ladder, this game will be one you won’t want to miss! With the Panthers only letting the opposing team score an average of 11.9 against the Sea Eagles 20.5, the Sea Eagles will be wanting to step up the defensive this week.

Expert Prediction: Panthers

Canberra Raiders vs Cronulla Sharks Expert Tip

If there were ever two teams stats that looked almost identical it was these two teams! The Raiders and Sharks both missed out on the top eight last year coming in at 9th and 10th, and both play and extremely tough game, however, what sets both these teams apart last season is the end of game stats. While the sharks didn’t come back to win after losing at halftime the Raiders only scraped in to win 11% of the time. The sharks won 71.4% of their games after leading at halftime while the Raiders unfortunately choked a whopping 54% of the time after leading at halftime, even though the raiders are playing at home this round the sharks should be seen to take the win after trailing at halftime.

Expert Prediction: Sharks

Brisbane Broncos vs South Sydney Rabbitohs Expert Tip

The Rabbitohs won almost three times as many games as the Broncos last season and ended third on the ladder only to be outshone by the Panthers and the Storm. The Rabbitohs scored a whopping 13.7 more points per game on average to the Broncos and let the opposing team score 10.1 points less against them per game on average. This should be a pretty simple choice, the Rabbitohs should win against the Broncos by a fair chunk.

Expert Prediction: Rabbitohs

Sydney Roosters vs Newcastle Knights Expert Tip

Both finishing in the top 8 last year, the Roosters and the Knights will be facing off at the SCG this Wednesday Afternoon. The Roosters scored an average 8.5 more points per game than the Knights winning by an average margin of 10.8 points per game, while it will be a close game, the Rooster should hold off in the last half to take the win.

Expert Prediction: Roosters

New Zealand Warriors vs St. George Illawarra Dragons Expert Tip

The Dragons and Warriors placed 11th and 12th consecutively last season both winning an equal 8 games each. The dragons stats go slightly in their favour however they are currently almost identical, what does stand out however, is the Dragons dismal losing streak 8 losses in a row is definitely not something to write home about!

Though these teams are pretty evenly matched I can’t help but feel that on the sunshine coast the dragons are going to want to fix that losing streak and get back in on the action! (they have to win eventually right?)

Expert Prediction: Dragons

Wests Tigers vs Melbourne Storm Expert Tip

Last year’s premiers the Melbourne Storm are taking on Wests Tigers at CommBank Stadium on Wednesday night in what would appear to be in Storms favour. The Wests are playing at their home ground this week however the Strom played more night games last season than the Wests, Storm won by an average of 11.6 points more than the Wests last season while the Tigers lost by an average of 13.9 points more than the Storm. Adding to all of this is the fact that the Storm won by more points against the Tigers a massive 50 points in Round 15 last year.

Expert Prediction: Storm

Parramatta Eels vs Gold Coast Titans Expert Tip

Though the Eels and the Titans both made it into the top 8 last season the Titans only just scraped through with 22 points, with the Eels winning 5 more games than the Titans they were miles ahead from the get-go. On average the titans allow 5.3 more points to be scored against them per game than the Eels where the Eels, on the other hand, lose by an average of 3.6 more points than the Titans.

given last year’s stats, the Titans have a 28.6% chance of choking after leading at halftime while the Eels have a 20% chance of coming back after trailing at halftime. This will be a tight game and I think that even though the Eels have this game slightly in their favour they won’t win by much.

Expert Prediction: Eels

North Queensland Cowboys vs Canterbury Bulldogs Expert Tip

The Cowboys and the Bulldogs both finished 15th and 16th on the ladder last year (if you’re no good at maths… that’s last), going by last years stats the cowboys lost half of the games they played last year where they were leading at halftime where the Cowboys were 100% reliable to win after leading halftime. The Cowboys scored an average of 5 points more per game than the Bulldogs however in the games that the Bulldogs did win, they won by an average of 15.1 points more than the Cowboys.

The Bulldogs should scrape through on this one.

Expert Prediction: Bulldogs
