NFL Week 1 comes to Australia, with the Rams and 49ers meeting at the MCG on Friday morning in the first regular season game ever played here. Before that, the reigning champion Seahawks open the season at home to the Patriots in a Super Bowl rematch, a Thursday morning kickoff our time, and the Sunday slate rolls through Monday morning before the Broncos and Chiefs close the week at Arrowhead on Tuesday. Early in the season the numbers are built on last year more than this one, so I want a bigger gap between my number and the market before I call anything a Best Bet, and most of the opening card sits inside that gap. The ones that clear it are listed below. Below you will find our tips, predictions and best bets for every Week 1 game, with the recommended play for each ready to take to your preferred NFL betting site.
