Saints vs Falcons Prediction
The Falcons have taken three of the last four in…
The Giants have won two of three and are being asked to take points at home, which is where I disagree with the bookies most. I make it Giants by three, so the 2.5 is the bet, and 44.5 still looks light against a Cardinals defence this generous.

The Giants have been the stingier of these two defences through three weeks, and that is the part of this game a 2.5 point line does not respect.
The line has drifted a point the Cardinals’ way since earlier in the week, so they are now giving 2.5 and I still make it Giants by three. That is 5.5 points of disagreement and the widest gap I have anywhere on this game, so I want the Giants and the points at $1.91.
The total is the second bet and a smaller edge. The Cardinals are giving up 27 points a game, they were part of a 66 point game against the 49ers last week, and even at 44.5 a game I get to 47 is enough for me to take the overs at $1.95.
Now the official report. The Cardinals have linebacker Josh Sweat questionable with a groin complaint, and the only man they have ruled out is a safety. The Giants’ final designations had not posted on the official report when I wrote this, so I am not calling their side clean yet, and the overs is still the first bet I would drop if the news turns.
Season to date, weeks 1-3.
I have the Giants winning by three at home, so taking them and the 2.5 is the side of the line.
A home side with a winning record being handed points is the sort of price I go looking for every week. I will take the Giants and the 2.5, and have a smaller crack at the overs.
Cam Skattebo 60 or more rushing yards, $1.72. Cam Skattebo has made 60 or more in 6 of his last 11 games, and two of his three this year got there, including 60 on the dot last time out. I’ve got the Giants winning at home, and a side in front keeps handing it to him late.
Jacoby Brissett 250 or more passing yards, $2.30. Jacoby Brissett got to 250 or more in 10 of his last 17 games, and he threw for 280 in his most recent one. If the Giants are in front like I expect, the Cardinals have to throw, and at $2.30 I’m happy to be on it.
Trey McBride 60 or more receiving yards, $1.67. Trey McBride has 60 or more receiving yards in 13 of his last 20 games, and he went past 100 three times last season. He’s had 95 and 75 in two of his three games this year, so I don’t see anything changing and I’m happy for the multi to start with him.
The multi, $6.22. Giants +2.5 at $1.91, Over 44.5 at $1.95 and Trey McBride 60+ Receiving Yards at $1.67. Three legs, the prop being the one with the strongest record on the board.
Prop prices from Sportsbet at the time of posting; the multi is the legs multiplied together. Records are game logs from last season (regular season and playoffs) and this season so far, checked against NFL.com. Compare before you bet. 18+. Gamble responsibly.

| Predicted Score | Giants 25 – Cardinals 22 |
The Giants, by about three on my numbers, despite starting as the home underdog. Their defence has been the more reliable of the two and the Cardinals have been leaking points freely.
Yes, on the Giants. The market has the Cardinals giving 2.5 and I have the Giants winning by three, so that 5.5 point disagreement is the strongest bet on this game.
I get to 47 and the market sits at 44.5. The Cardinals have conceded 27 points a game and were in a 66 point game last week, so I will take the overs, though it is the smaller of my two bets.
Not in the last two seasons, so there is no recent meeting between these two to work from. Both sides also missed the playoffs last season.
The Giants travel to play the Washington Commanders at Northwest Stadium on Monday 12 October (AEDT) in NFL Week 5.
The Cardinals host the Detroit Lions at State Farm Stadium on Monday 12 October (AEDT) in NFL Week 5.
