Just the one for us at Wyong today, and it’s Gravel Road at $3 in Race 2. We keep coming back to that price. Small field of six with no natural leader, so the tempo could be anyone’s guess, and from gate 5 he can settle midfield and get the right run into it. Track’s a Soft 7 with fine weather overhead, so nothing nasty underfoot. One we like, and we’re happy to leave the rest of the card alone.

#4 Mind Ya Bizz doesn’t do it for me at $1.95. #1 Gravel Road maps midfield in a race with no genuine leader, and with the winkers on and Zac Lloyd riding he can push forward for his own spot instead of getting swamped. He’s placed both his last two, second then third, so he’s knocking on the door. On a soft 7 I’d rather have him at $3 than take the short one from the inside.
