Hawkesbury Horse Racing Tips Thu 15/10/26
All Star caught the eye early in race 7, three…

Seven races at Warwick Farm and only one we’re keen on, so this is a selective day rather than a busy one. The Soft 5 isn’t a problem, but Race 3 over 1600m has no obvious leader, and that makes it a tricky read. Columbus is drawn 7 in a field of eight and settles midfield, which is fine if nobody wants to go forward and the tempo comes back to him. At $2.60 he is short, so the question is simply whether you trust the map.
1. Columbus $2.60
Barrier 7 · Midfield · No leader
Blinkers on for the first time and James McDonald in the saddle, that’s the hook. #1 Columbus won first up this prep and then ran fifth, so he’s fit and wanting the mile now. Gate 7 is the only knock, but with no genuine leader and only eight of them, he won’t get buried out wide. #4 Deep Pleasure at $3.40 has to find the same run. Happy to take $2.60.
