Where’s the money on a bog track at Warrnambool? Not down the short end, that’s for sure. Showers about all day, the going’s a Heavy 10, and every one of them has to get through testing ground. We’ve only landed on three across the eight races, but the one we keep coming back to is Finchaven in Race 6 at $7.50. She’s drawn 3, settles midfield, and there’s no clear leader to tow them along. Give us that sort of price and a soft speed map over a short favourite any day.
