Wangaratta Racecourse horse racing tips and form preview

Wangaratta Horse Racing Tips Mon 6/7/26

Updated 6 July 2026

Real range to the Wangaratta card, from the 1000m dashes up to a 2000m staying test, and big fields right through with three races carrying a dozen or more runners. It’s a Heavy 10, though dry and cold overhead means the track should be improving rather than easing as the day goes. Sir Basil caught the eye in race 5, won last start and lines up in the 2000m. Rowdy Anthem in race 6 has a couple of wins this prep and is one we’re looking at early over the 1000m, while Boulder Jack in race 7 also won last start. Selections drop here around 10am race morning once the markets firm.
