Seymour Horse Racing Tips Sun 11/10/26
No rating posted yet at Seymour, but it's sunny with…

Fine day up at Townsville and the track’s come up a Soft 6, so nothing too testing to worry about. Seven on the card and four we’re keen on, which is a decent strike for a meeting like this. We’ll kick off early, because Monday Close at $7.50 in Race 1 is the one we like best, settling off the pace from a good gate. From there it’s about where the value sits, and at these prices there’s a bit to like down the card.
2. Monday Close $7.50
Barrier 2 · Off Pace · Soft pace
Soft, off pace trip from gate 2, on a soft track.
5. Russian Mint $6.00
Barrier 6 · Off Pace · Genuine pace
Genuine speed up front means the leaders will be under pressure, and that’s exactly what #5 Russian Mint wants sitting off them. He’s been finding the line lately with a couple of wins in the mix, Ben Kennedy stays on, and the winkers keep him switched on. #7 Blue Stratum is $1.95 and has to control it in front while the tempo burns. At $6, I’d rather have the one coming home over the top of them.
8. Melo Melo Kava $5.50
Barrier 5 · Midfield · Genuine pace
The favourite leaves me cold at $3.10. #5 Guac On has to find the front first up off a spell, and with genuine speed on that’s a hard ask. #8 Melo Melo Kava settles midfield and gets the tempo to chase home, the blinkers stay on, and Adam Sewell sticks. Two seconds before a flat run last start says he’s knocking. At $5.50, I’m on the one doing his best work late.
1. Smart Legend $3.10
Barrier 2 · Off Pace · Soft pace
#1 Smart Legend’s won his last two and gets the rail from gate 2. The pace looks soft, but he’s got the late kick to swoop on them late. $3.10, Wiggins stays. Have it.
