Seymour Horse Racing Tips Sun 11/10/26
No rating posted yet at Seymour, but it's sunny with…

Midweek up at Townsville and it’s a tidy little card, eight races but only three we like the look of. The track’s a Soft 5 with fine weather overhead, so the ground should keep drying out through the day. That’s racing closer to the speed than most of these northern meetings. Corbusier in the last is the one we keep coming back to. Off the pace, no obvious leader to chase, and a price that reads about right for the best of our three. The other two are a bit more hopeful, so this is a day to keep the staking sensible and let the value do the work.
3. Overland $5.00
Barrier 5 · Midfield · Genuine pace
Blinkers on #3 Overland and Aidan Holt sticks in the saddle. He maps midfield from gate 5, handy enough to grab a cosy run into what looks a genuine speed battle up front. I’m not paying $1.90 for #2 Niven when the favourite has to do the same out of a wider gate. At $5 each-way, I’m with him.
4. Aspen Cowboy $8.50
Barrier 2 · Off Pace · Soft pace
Eight and a half bucks for #4 Aspen Cowboy looks too big to me. He’s back off a let-up with three wins and a second from his last five, the blinkers stay on, and from the inside draw Lacey Morrison can settle him off a soft tempo and let him swoop late. I’m not paying $1.70 for the favourite when a fresh, in-form one like this is out at the overs. On him.
3. Corbusier $3.00
Barrier 3 · Off Pace · No leader
#3 Corbusier keeps finding the winning post and at $3 he’s the one for me. No genuine leader here, so he can drop in off the speed and use that strong late kick to run over the top of them. Sean Cormack rides from gate 3, no trouble landing a cosy spot. The fav has to do it from midfield at $4.40, and I’d rather the horse in this kind of form. Take him to win.
