Tamworth Horse Racing Tips Fri 26/6/26
Quiet one at Tamworth today, just three across the nine that we’re keen on. Track’s a Soft 5 and it’s fine overhead, so nothing tricky about the ground, it’s more about finding the prices. Ruairi at $6 in the 2 is the one we keep coming back to, drawn 3 and happy to sit off a field with no clear leader. My Angel Shell is the rough one at $9.50 in the 7, a 12-runner scramble where a bit of value goes a long way. And $4.20 on Iknowyou in the last rounds out a soft card worth a look.

Blinkers go on #4 Ruairi for the first time, and from gate 3 with Nick Palmer up he can be more positive in a race with no clear leader. He’s been improving too, third last start after a fourth before it. The favourite is $2.30 but settles even further back from gate 9 and keeps finding seconds without winning one. I’d rather take $6 on the horse drawn to get the better run.

15. My Angel Shell $9.50
Barrier 5 · Midfield · Soft pace
At $9.50 we don’t need much to go right. #15 My Angel Shell gets the blinkers and tongue tie on, draws to land midfield from gate 5, and ran second a couple back. A soft tempo helps the leaders, so she’ll need to come home strong, but with that gear on I’m happy to chase the overs each-way.

2. Iknowyou $4.20
Barrier 4 · Midfield · Genuine pace
Genuine speed up front is just what #2 Iknowyou wants. He won last start, draws gate 4 to land midfield, and runs over the top once the leaders cook it up front. The fav has to lead from gate 8 and do the work. At $4.20, I’m with the one coming late.
