Caulfield Horse Racing Tips Sat 10/10/26
Caulfield runs a staying card, from 1100m out to 2400m,…

Dollar Shot in Race 5 is the one that jumped out when we went through Sale today, drawn 2 and settling off the speed over 1200m. It’s a Soft 7 with overcast skies, so nothing too extreme underfoot, just a bit of give in the ground. Only a small field of six lining up in that one, and $4.60 for her reads about right to us given the soft tempo up front. The rest of the card is a tricky read, so this is the only one we’re keen on. One worth a look, the rest can wait.
4. Dollar Shot $4.60
Barrier 2 · Off Pace · Soft pace
#2 Humza Bey at $1.85 is too short for me in a six-runner race that won’t be run at any real tempo. #4 Dollar Shot draws gate 2 with Campbell Rawiller aboard, and in a field this small she doesn’t have to get far back. She hits the line hard once the sprint’s on late, and at $4.60 I’d rather have her running onto them than take odds-on. On her.
