Sale Horse Racing Tips Fri 21/8/26

Zoudeadly is the one that jumped out when I went through the Sale card. He has drawn 12 and he will be getting back, so he needs the tempo to hold up in front of him. Even so, $5 on a horse that can pick them off late over 1400m is worth a look. The track is a Soft 6 with grey skies overhead, and that sort of ground usually keeps them honest through the middle stages. Only two we are keen on out of the nine races. Lost The Plot is the other one, drawn 4 in a field of 14 over 1100m, and $7 looks fair for a horse that should get a nice run midfield.

6. Zoudeadly $5.00

Barrier 12 · Backmarker · Genuine pace

Winkers come off #6 Zoudeadly for the first time, and that’s the hook. Jamie Mott stays on, there’s genuine speed up front in a 14-horse field, and he can wind up into that late on a soft 6. He ran second three runs back and fourth last start, so he isn’t far away. #10 Cignetti is $2 first-up from the widest gate and wants to lead. I’d rather have Zoudeadly at $5.

Race 4
2:00pm · 1100m · Handicap · 14 runners

11. Lost The Plot $7.00

Barrier 4 · Midfield · Genuine pace

#14 Shiny Diamond is $3.90 first-up with just one run behind her and drawn wider. #11 Lost The Plot has run second then third this prep, gets the blinkers on, and starts from gate 4 with genuine speed on to chase. At $7, too good to leave out.
