Where’s the value on a wet midweeker like this? Heavy 8 at Sale and barely a genuine leader on the card. Colizzi in the opener at $3.40 is the one we keep coming back to, drawn 1 with no pressure up front. Backmarkers and off-pace types are doing the work on this ground, so it pays to be patient and let the wet do the sorting.

He draws the fence, Stackhouse rides for the Feek yard, and there’s no genuine leader to worry about. With the favourite also settling back, I’d rather take $3.40 on the horse with the placings. On him to win.

He won two starts back and gives us a bigger price than #8 Mad About Magnus, who has to do all the work on the speed from the fence. Sticking with the overs.
