Cranbourne Horse Racing Tips Fri 9/10/26
Nine races at Cranbourne and we're only keen on one,…

Overcast over Rosehill, but the track is a Good 4, so there are no excuses in the ground today. Three of the four we like are short prices, and that is not us getting brave. It is because each of them gets to control their own race. So You Are can take it up in the 3, Blue Door rolls forward in the 6, and Guest House draws gate 5 in the 8. Xtreme in the 2 is the one with a price about him worth chasing, $9 for a horse that can use a soft tempo from gate 7. No standout on this card, just four worth a look, so weight them how you like.
3. Xtreme $9.00
Barrier 7 · Pace · Soft pace
Soft tempo here, and #3 Xtreme has the early speed to make use of it. Three runs back from a let-up he’s run two seconds and a third, Kerrin McEvoy takes the ride, and from gate 7 he can be rolling forward early. #5 Bluish Hue is $2.60 and has to come from gate 8 out of the ruck with nothing much in front to chase. I’d rather have Xtreme at $9.
1. So You Are $2.30
Barrier 6 · Pace · No leader
Blinkers on #1 So You Are, and he won his last start with Rachel King aboard. Nobody wants to lead in this Group 3, and he has the early speed to take it up from gate 6. Happy to take $2.30, and it’s to win, not each-way.
1. Blue Door $1.90
Barrier 6 · Leader · Genuine pace
Where’s the risk at $1.90? #3 Omolong is first up off two wins and he gets back. #1 Blue Door rolls forward for Nash Rawiller and she’s been second at both runs this prep. Skinny price, but I like the fit horse that gets to dictate in front.
1. Guest House $2.50
Barrier 5 · Midfield · Soft pace
#1 Guest House won first-up last start and draws gate 5 with Zac Lloyd aboard. #5 St Gotthard has to do it from gate 9. I like the short one here, $2.50.
